Glad to see that you are still scrobblin'... looks like you are loving that Hum too :)

Nice taste in music...

apparently we are a dying breed.

Merry Christmas from Michigan. You are my go to guy for any music on the heavier side.

Haven't been over here in a bit... Nice charts! I am a big fan of the new Black Angels... Thoughts?

not quite sure. hehe

my amazing man.

i'm too nosy for my own good :)

failure review was sweet. like your last.fm site dude

how bout them B'Hawks! I'm pulling for them here on out. and how bout them Besnard Lakes. that is a very good album. you have that baby yet?

diggin' you digging tantivy's pynchon reference.

Hi..ive just seen a comment of you on Black Angels song "yesterday always know"...could you pleeease send it to me? :)

Check it...http://www.last.fm/music/Mono?setlang=en

If you like Yo La Tengo (which means you have great taste) check out Dust Bunnies: http://www.last.fm/event/1409200+The+Dust+Bunnies+at+Underground+Lounge+on+11+February+2010

Haha, I hear that, man, me too. It doesn't help that all the good shows that come out here to Boston are all on work-nights, either!

Thanks for the add, man! Couldn't help but notice you're from Chi-town, like myself. Living in New England now, but damn, do I miss the music scene in Chicago!

Good stuff man.

how about cutler? I think even he would be an upgrade to the edwards/fitzpatrick problem there. you're brother playing anywhere these days?

maybe jauron wasn't the problem...but he still needed to go. is lovie available?

how was the atlas sound concert? what are your thoughts about logos?

Were you at Empty Bottle last night? Didn't see you there?

what are your thoughts on the new built to spill album?

Dude, did you get 50 free emusic songs? I just noticed that I did. Score. What plan are you on these days anyways now that price has gone up?

Like your blog Andrew!

so how was tool? did you see snoop? they have been playing snippits on Fuse and the crowd for snoop looked HUGE! he put on a hell of a show when he came to iowa. maybe I'm biased though...

Ah! Then you'll need to be prepare to have your mind blown. And in such a small space. I hope Trent really works to make the Aragon's less than optimal sound work for him. I'm seeing them in NYC, so I'm not sure what to expect in terms of venue. Heard it's not a good one, but I couldn't get the Bowery Ballroom show that is basically the size of Empty Bottle.

You psyched about NIN with Mew? I know you're a Mew lover, like myself.

i take it you like that empire of the sun album. I remember looking at it, thinking the cover was stupid. I also want to say that the music itself was unimpressive, but if YOU like it...

I've got to know the black angels only recently, but my first impression is very good. I love sitars in classic rock, but also classical indian music. hm, pink floyd have made songs far better than "green is the color". listen "the piper at the gates of dawn", "a saucerful of secrets" and "live at pompeii": these are imho the best pink floyd albums. they are surpassing.

what do you mean with "Sitar = money. " http://www.lastfm.de/music/The+Black+Angels/_/Deer-Ree-Shee ?

http://www.emusic.com/album/Lotus-Plaza-The-Floodlight-Collective-MP3-Download/11369928.html One of the dudes from Deerhunter's solo album. I quite like ittttt!

I recommend the new white rabbits if you have yet to discover it. you not going to pitchfork? you no like those bands either?

Terrible. Take a lap.

Aite Andrew, how's it goin? Got some news for you. We've got a new video up on youtube. It was filmed at Ravensbourne Studios and presented by Jemma Bolt from the BBC so it's the real deal. All the sound and footage is live! It's one of the new tracks from our album :) Check it out when you get the chance man, we'd appreciate it! Peace, Stan

so this is what winning feels like! not the most dominant of series. but a damn fun one to watch (with the exception of game 5). I wasn't convinced they would pull it out, but fuck detroit. the cup is in pittsburgh this summer.

Yeah man we know how it is. Would be sweet to actually speak to you in person ha! Take it easy pal, Stan

Hey man. It's going pretty well. Got some good shit coming up, festivals and what-not. Looking foward to playing in the sun dude! Still recording ther album. Just when we think we're done, another song pops up and we're like "we gotta record that one" ha :) How you been man? Stan

Good to hear. I hadn't even realised that you're the group leader of Kings of Leon Suck Ass Now, I joined a while ago. :-P

Thanks, four years has been too long. How was Mogwai? Did Like Herod blow your mind? :-D

Putting it back into Morrissey!

Good choice of tunes you got goin on there mate.

Dude -- Did you see this - http://www.last.fm/group/Kings+of+Leon+DOESN%27T+suck+ass+now

Yeah, the lack of a Rangers store in Glasgow airport is disgusting. :-P Lolla looks good too, minus The Killers.

We're not doing particularly well right now but the season isn't over yet. :-P I like your taste in music, My Girls is a great song. I'm extremely jealous of the fact that you're going to the Pitchfork Music Festival, you get to pick the set list for The Jesus Lizard and The Flaming Lips for crying out loud!

Indeed. Rangers Football Club, that is.
