Blind Guardian and Devin (y)

I guess Santa Clause got to see my wish list for christmas early! ;) To be honest that's just a bad adaption of what steelbound replied to you. xD I am a journalist, that's why. ^^

Great taste!

No problem, :3

Hey. In case you didn't know, Apocynthion released their first album. I saw that you listened to Correlations a decent amount of times, so I thought you may want to know...

I think it's the Danish one I've listened to a little, yeah. I'll keep them in mind when I'm feeling like powermelodeath, thanks for the rec!

Glad to see someone likes the new Blind Guardian as much as me!

here's a few recs of somewhat similar stuff: Duchess Says - Anthologie des 3 Perchoirs, Dananananaykroyd - Hey Everyone, Carsick Cars - You Can Listen You Can Talk, The Octopus Project - One Ten Hundred Thousand Million, Kiss Kiss - Reality vs. the Optimist, Blue Sky Black Death - Third Party, Two Gallants - What The Toll Tells, The Weepies - Hideaway, Circ - Love Electric. You should be able to find all those with a google blog search or on soulseek

I lurk that board a lot lol. Get a lot of good recs

lol thanks?

ahh yes, just started posting the other day lol.

Nice taste in Music, and Favorite bands.

Thanks for the add! I highly approve of your charts. You pumped for the next BG album? I know I can't wait :3

Haha, for sure; I already accepted your facebook request. I've never even listened to any of Avantasia's other albums (:O blasphemy, I know), so I'm not in any hurry to get his new album, but I'll let you know if I change my mind.

Are you on Sony's Fantasy Festival yet? http://fantasyfestival.last.fm/invite/?key=038772b404cfd5dab86e75076eed24d3&r=ShadowedMage

your sn sounds pretty prog to me

The album you linked me seems interestig, I will surely give it a listen ^^

hahaha, well theres only really two or three songs from KSE I like, so cut me some slack. Out of curiousity, ever heard of Myrath or Koyaanisqatsy? Two relatively underground bands that I can't get enough of these days. I'll send you some songs by them next time I see you online

loooool XD you have to send a mail to Kubo to tell him you've discovered his plans :) oh, and request accepted! \m/

sucks to be you then...only 34 degrees Farenheit (1 degree Celcius) in New York City right now

from all the Blind Guardian i've been listening to on my zune lately, I have to say i like their newer stuff compared to their older stuff. Nightfall in MiddleEarth is a sweet concept, but I don't like the vocals all that much. The newer stuff, like A Twist in the Myth, i really enjoy, and I think a part of it is because I can /actually understand/ what is being said in the lyrics better lol. I've definitely got a lot more listening to do before I make any final opinion though.

It seems those are indeed common grounds.

yup - mkelsasser@hotmail.com

hi; you are the one who listen the song "slaves to deserts" performed by hansi kürsch. Could u send it to me by e-mail? please?

I will just say this now before I forget to tell you: HOLY SHIT Scale the Summit is absolutely amazing!!!! I will definitely be listening to these guys a lot the next few week. I'm working on getting some B.G. so I'll let you know what I think when I get it all together.

I heard a few tracks from Blind Guardian a while back, and must have been unimpressed. Who knows, that was then, this is now - I will be sure to give them another try. At least 12 plays is better than 8 (reference to your Ozzy plays =O). Also, if you're as big into prog metal as i think you are, check out Pagan's Mind. They blew my mind when I listened to their new album 'God's Equation' . Oh yeah, one more thing:*High fives ShadowedMage for having a fuckin amazing taste in music*

Yeah I haven'y really been on for a while, been busy with work and shit

Yes and no. I haven't actually met Derik irl, but a friend of mine is brosephs with him. And last I checked, Jens dropped out of DE. :(

why thank you sir

Metazoa will be available to order in stores once The End and Relapse are done processing all that nonsense with their distributors. Will take at least a couple months. The album is available to buy via CD Baby here: http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/cormorant2 If you do get a Paypal, then yes, the shirt + album package will still be available, minus the poster.

Thank you kindly. :-)

Such thought-provoking and inspiring words have never been said before =P. Unfortunately, I don't have an MSN.

haha, thanks man. it feels good to demonstrate to the world the originality and creativity of the great Jon Schaffer.

Thanks for accepting!! We are Derdian, a power metal band from Italy!! :D Please, let us know what do you think about our music!! ^__^ http://www.lastfm.it/music/Derdian www.myspace.com/derdianspace

Ok so I suck at replying to people in a timely manor, lol. High fives back to you for Blind Guardian awesomeness too!! And yes, Loreena McKennitt is quite awesome.

Metal Band Banner thing? What the hell are you talking about?

It would appear you are too! We were both listening to the same album ^_^

Awesome taste man!

Check out Dungeon and Lord

WHAT ARE YOU DOING!

That's a lot of Blind Guardian ;)
