He SevenUp. Aangezien je Spotify de boel hebt laten overnemen vraag ik me af of dit je bereikt. Wat een onzin dat we nu allemaal op Spotify gaan zitten, voor dat ene kleine voordeeltje (andermans muziek luisteren). Door de gebrekkige integratie met LastFM en iTunes heb ik het er weer uit geflikkerd.

Ik wilde je net attenderen op The Field, maar je gaat al! Hopelijk is het (weer) inclusief levende bas en drum. En op de Neudeflat.

Om sentimentele redenen net even gekeken op de pagina van The Monthly Mixtape ... maar daar is weinig van overgebleven sinds je de scepter heb doorgegeven. Tsja ... je deed het goed! (dit is eigenlijk gewoon een overpeinzing ... ;-) )

hey, I know a lot of people are saying good bye to you because you are leaving the group, and I wanted to say something too. Because I really love the group and I love the music and everything. But the only thing I could think of specifically for you is kind of silly. Sometimes I get a song that I become super in love with and I listen to it on repeat for hours and maybe days, and if you remember you gave me one of those songs. If it wasn't for you I would never have experienced the Magic Position. you are bomb, keep it up.

aight mate, yeah the guy who told me about it said that you were having troubles with people quitting after a month or not sending people stuff, knnygns told me about it on a music forum. I'm a big music fan with pretty varied taste, I'm at uni studying American Studies (in England) and I'm going for a study abroad year in Louisiana next year. I'm pretty open minded when it comes to music, I like something in most genres and I co-present a student radio show. I hope thats enough stuff for now! Cheers Sam

i was in the group some months ago, but I didn't have the time to make a good enough job for such a highly active group. I loved the concept though, and i'm motivated to make awesome mixtapes now! anyway, my name is Thomas, and i'm from Norway. I like a lot of music, preferably noise, shoegaze, pop and post-punk. I like shrimps and paris.

Hey! I just found the group randomly and thought it sounded like fun. For the next year at least, I should be able to produce a mixtape every month. I wanted to join because I thought it would be a good way to hear some music I wouldn't usually come across. I used to be part of a mixtape project at uni, but it involved giving people physical cd's, so I can't really do that now that I'm done. All of my friends are sick of me making them mixtapes, so I figured I might try some strangers... :) Anyway, I'm v. keen and hope you'll let me try. Oh, also, I'm a 22-year-old American woman living in the UK doing anthropological research. xx

Hey, thanks for getting in touch! I totally understand why you have made it private, i'm a member of another mix-tape group where some people will let you down. To be honest, i'm still a little new to the mix-tape trading, but i'm sure i will be a great member, who will always take part. Unfortunately i don't know any group members who would be able to give me a recommendation, and yes i did find the group on my own. I don't really know what to say about me, except i'm a 17 year old guy from Australia, who is keen on music, and finding all different types, and i love to find new bands all the time! Hoi SevenUp, ik was vroeger al een tijdje lid van Monthly Mixtape (onder andere gebruikersnaam) en ben er dan uitgestapt omdat ik het druk had en de motivatie niet meer kon opbrengen. Nu heb ik er echter weer zin in en zou ik graag opnieuw lid willen worden.

Ik zie dat ik helemaal niet nodig ben in het popquiz team. Hoewel... ;)

Hi Roy, I just noticed your message. I was expecting an email so I haven't been scrolling down to the bottom of my page much! Anyway, I have actually been in the group before, being active around the start of last year before I made a move across the 'pond' from the UK to Canada. So you imagine I have been doing a fair bit which meant I had to withdraw from the group.But now I want back! I thought is was a great group with interesting themes and I will be committed to getting my mixes out on time. As for knowing people on MM, I think I have done around 4 or 5 mixes but I can't remember with whom. Cheers Jack

Hello, I stumbled across the monthly mixtape group by accident and I thought it was great idea and figured that since I listen to a lot of different types of music that I'd be able to create some good mixes. I've never uploaded anything on one of those share sites before but I'm sure I can figure it out with the help of the forum. Other than that possible hindrance I'm good to go. Also, thanks for the response.

I’ve no recommendation to speak of, other than the fact that I was a member previously. Looking back at my old mixes, I joined around September 2007, and participated until the summer of 2008. I left on a long holiday then, and I’ve just been too mixtaped out for the last year to join again. Lately, however, I’ve started to get that craving again and I’m in the mood to discover new music. You mentioned when I contacted you about leaving that you’d probably remember my name and to just say I’d been in the group before, so here I am.

I'm definitely up for making mixes every month, no problem. I make them for myself anyway, so I figure, why not make it for someone else too? I'd heard about the group a long time ago but forgot about it and then remember recently so I thought I should finally join! Mm...I think that's about it! Thanks! - Kaitie

Hi, I apologize for the late response I was diligently working on your cd and have since completed it! I am spending time, however, seeing if I can find better transition songs or better copies of the current mp3s I have...perhaps wav just in case your some audiophile.
