I love the appreciation of early ‘No Wave’ Sonic Youth in your top albums; that’s some underrated stuff in my opinion, anyway, you seriously have impressive music taste and deserve a follow for it! Also I hope you enjoy more of Nurse With Wound in the future—Steven Stapleton work progressively gets better from there; even though it was pretty great already, but yeah mad respect! 👍

many thanks! love the early sonic youth stuff, especially the freedom of it. also really liking daydream nation recently, the looseness reminds me of what i love about their first two albums. trying to get into more of stapleton's work, if you have any recommendations of his stuff i'll be sure to listen to them!

The most obvious stuff would be Homotopy to Marie, Spiral Insana(My favorite one), or Soliloquy for Lilth to name a few. But I would recommend maybe giving Current 93's early industrial output a try too--because Stapleton had large hand in forming those albums alongside David Tibet, so yeah, particularly give "Nature Unveiled" a try--if you're interested.
