and you should check mz.412 main man [artist]nordvargr[/artist]'s solo stuff, as well as [artist]toroidh[/artist]... more harsh than other dark ambient stuff perhaps, but really nice... toroidh is like martial ambient, the later nordvargr stuff is pure black ambience...

i've been loving stuff from the loki foundation label recently, such as [artist]first law[/artist], [artist]predominance[/artist] and [artist]herbst9[/artist]. a different sound to the cold meat artists but imho much better (although you should check [artist]atrium carceri[/artist] if you don't already know him)... also not by any means 'dark ambient' but [artist]mz.412[/artist] is always worth a listen. oh, and if you're a subscriber, you can see who's visited your page.

Aw well, we all go through stages. There was a time when I probably wou;ldn't have thought of listening to hard techno and aggrotech too..but sometimes change...is good. ;) If you listen to The Prodigy, you should check out the new Crystal Method album. I've spinned it a few times, it's good.

I was referring to length mainly and the extent of content (droning on&on). All of which are none too impressive.

Stack about 30 Mein Kampf's together and you got a law book (one of my prereq's for bus.management). We didn't have to memorize it per say..but I woke up every other morning dreading that class & the teacher. And I am in no way comparing Mein Kampf to law, but it's enough to make me want to kill myself. :p sorry i got so off track w/ ♫♪. I have the tendency every once in a while. BTW, CF&M is my FAVE!!!!!

That really should be an act of crime!! I just figured, how the hell am I going to manage a business if I can't even manage things now like time, money, etcetc. :D

Hmm yes, perhaps if the opportunity arises for me in that venture I might consider..My major was quite broad as I was taking courses for business management and had a minor in art..See, I like electronics and tech-gadgetry sort of stuff but I always figured it was sort of a "guys" thing. ^_^ I'm afraid I have been dealt the wrong hand in that field.!

The funny part is that I don't necessarily care what the lyrics are. Nevertheless, it still sorta bothers me if they're in a foreign language. What can I say... I'm ethnocentric j/k. Olivia is quite experimental. I've had them in my library for quite some time but only recently listened.

Also, it really doesn't help if I can't understand the language and there are frequent lyrics. I listened to the top track from "Tabula Rasa" and couldn't understand anything they were saying. The instrumental part didn't really capture my attention, unfortunately.

Thanks, I've heard of Neubauten but have never listened. I'll have to try it out... although I'm not sure industrial is really my thing. I've listened to TLPD a little bit... not extensively. They remind me of early Floyd. You at all familiar with The Olivia Tremor Control? I was listening to them a lot yesterday... quite good. Beatles-esque.
