I haven't heard much aside from MPP either, but what I have heard I loved, I haven't even listened to Centipede Hz yet, figured it'd be interesting to hear it live for the first time. Yeah, I liked them a lot before I really got into metal, and I still enjoy them a bit. I listen to all kinds of stuff though, not just metal. Hell, just check out Porcupine Tree, they're one of my favorite bands ever and they'd be right up your alley.
