Well, not just to ignore you, but getting back to your original question, "are you interesting?", I'll have to say that my response seems to have missed its mark…or perhaps the other way around? What could this question possibly mean? It's certainly not for me to answer it. Of course, I do believe most people are stupid, boring, tawdry and uncritical, but I certainly could never presume that someone else may not have the same opinion of me. I think you're in a better position than I to answer your question. And for me, the term "third moon sensibility" connotes a "weird" perspective, from a mainstream point of view, on the whole evolutionary tragedy. Imagine feeling like one the few still conscious as the stern finally sinks beneath the waves.

I have my interests. The phenomenon of anthropocentrism and chauvinism are of particular interest to me at present. Granted, I have a bit of a third moon perspective on things in general.

There is this subcultural sense of musical ownership which tends to irk me, particularly when it extends to ideology. I prefer to call it as I hear it and that's different for everyone. Even if the artist's opinions don't reflect my own, there may still be elements within their music I can appreciate. Some may find that oh-so offensive to their own personal sensibilities, but c'est la vie.

Thank you. As for the underground/mainstream comment, I was speaking more of the hipsteresque indie-cred nonsense that seems popular with certain demographics on last.fm. I trust you know what I'm getting at.

You do have a point. It's just that cryptofascist is already a term, and hardly a positive one at that. I'm OK w/ the use of "fascist" in the name as long as it isn't serious, it's just there are better terms, like maybe metafascist, pseudofascist, or better yet, postfascist. I'm not offended, I just think it's kind of an overused, loaded term.
