The best way to get from Eindhoven to Sjock festival grounds in Gierle is by car. Although the town is only 50 km from Eindhoven, public transport between the Netherlands (Eindhoven) and Belgium (Gierle) is very poor, so that really isn't an option. Taking a taxi from Eindhoven to Gierle will probably be pretty expensive (Dutch taxi rates are ludicrously high, renting a small car will probably cost less). Hitchhiking is always an option. Alternatively you could go into the city of Eindhoven and visit either the Rambler (a pub at the Stationsplein) or La Folie (a pub in the Vrijstraat) and try to fix a ride there or ask me to get you there. I'm sure I'll go to Sjock with a couple of friends to see the Gories and the Oblivians, I haven't checked out the rest of the program so I'm not sure for the other day.
