Are the people who were around at the beginning still there even? I'm guessing that people just lost interest and went elsewhere eventually, especially since the forums were incredibly dated looking, as was the website in general.

Why did they change their mind? That said, I highly doubt I'll ever join that kind of forum again, and even when I was a member of SNMR I never listened to the stream at all, it was merely to participate in threads, and from how it looked quite sometime ago when I logged in under a different name, it wasn't very active any longer at all.
