Thanks man. To get into The Fall of Troy it depends on what you're looking for. Their s/t is really great in terms of being pretty frantic and a lot more skramz-ish. Not very much in terms of clean vocals. It's my personal favorite. If you want something with more clean vocals, go for Manipulator. Has more slow songs like Cut Down, (and feelsy slower songs) like The Dark Trail and Quarter Past. Seriously though, quarter past sounds really like, lounge jazz influenced. Lol. A lot more feelings of desperation in that one, but also has pretty quick songs like Oh, the Casino and Sledgehammer. Basically start with those two and if there's nothing you like at all, you probably won't end up liking them. Lol

First off the music i listened to came out because it was anti GLAM ROCK. it went against it and was the exact opposite. Glam rock was overplayed. Glam rock sucked balls. Yeah it can definitely be helpful for finding music that you would normally not, but most of the people who do end up using it don't actually like the music but want to be patrician. Its kind of saddening that my favorite albums are associated with those people.

No no, that's not what I mean at all, I'm not that conceited. It annoys me that people strictly will listen to the album to feel superior and be considered a patrician, whether they like the album or not.

It does kind of annoy me that Brainticket is even on that list, because it makes plebs who would normally listen to Radiohead and AnCo listen to it because they want to be patrician, same thing happened to Comus. Cottonwoodhill was what actually got me involved in krautrock and psychedelic rock as a whole when I first listened to it because its the most innovative rock album to date, and you can quote me on that. If you are looking for something more entry-level, listen to Celestial Ocean, and then Psychonaut, but from looking at your tastes I don't know if you'd enjoy either.

Stockton is a solid track, the whoop whoops are pretty fun and it's the least dark song on the album in my opinion, but my favorite is No Love or Bass Rattle Stars Out The Sky. I'm only on second listen though, so that might change cause every track is amazing.

I was going to order it and SotL - Avec Laudenum but then the prices jumped right before I did. I'll probably still get them though.

Yup, heard of Teams (and the remix he made with s.slinger). Listened to some others, it's a musical mess (oh god the feedbacks), though he has some good beats. Anyway, if you are into star slinger check Yung Life and Coolrunnings.

Yeah I'd say Mirrorring is quickly becoming one of my favourite Liz Harris releases, maybe even 3rd. And I know what you mean with Metric, Old World Underground and The Unicorns really helped expand my tastes (although it took a while). Emily is one of my favourite vocalists around, speaking of which make sure you have checked out her solo work too!

Spiritualized Sweet Heart Sweet Light, it has lost the bloated orchestral feel and is really good. Best since Ladies and Gentlemen. It also has moved away from the gopel choir and the Lord, Jesus, Soul and Fire formula.
