It's my first watch so I'm pretty amazed :) Next I'm thinking Oz or Sons of Anarchy possibly.

FUKKIN SAVED that based Gandolfini pic, RIP sweet prince. I've been on a Sopranos binge lately.

Well, I just started listening to him somewhat recently and I've only got 5 of his albums. I'd say it's a toss up between Days Have Gone By and Transfiguration. You?

[artist]Stars of the Lid[/artist] is a great starting place. A lot of people recommend And Their Refinement of the Decline or Tired Sound Of, but I'd say Avec Laudenum is the better starting place. It's shorter and easier to digest when compared to a massive 2 hour album. I'd also recommend [artist]Aloof Proof[/artist], an extremely overlooked ambient musician who has some unbelievable albums. Get Piano Text; its a huge staple of the genre in my mind. [artist]Brian Eno[/artist] is a great starting place, get Apollo: Atmospheres and Soundtracks. If you like any other sort of genres, drone, psychedelic, noise, etc you can usually find ambient infused with that particular flavor. I'd start with these and hit me up if you're looking for next steps. I'm sure the archive has some links, but if you're having trouble shoot me a message!

Good question. Aside from Mishio Ogawa's and Kiyohiko Senba's projects I would recommend Cioccolata as well (as Caoli Cano's solo stuff even though its terribly difficult to find), Gekko Imonkyaku, and Akiko Yano's early material occasionally has a similar feeling but with much less '80s wackiness. There are other artists like Mariko Fuji, Miharu Koshi, and Saeko Suzuki that you should still probably check out even though their music isn't exactly in the same style. Hope this helps some.

Yeah man. It had ass laughing pretty damn loudly at how hard we got fucked in the ass at times. we barely start the game and we encounter this massive fat dragon guard and we are like "fuckin hell" Then we pissed off some fat night and every time we respawned he would come and try and kill us. Very interesting game

"Petting Zoo" is definitely my favourite album by The Residents at the moment. The whole record has an amazing feeling. If you kinda dig it and "get it", you might become a Resident yourself. It's not trying to be "beautiful" in the common sense, it's abstract, ugly, loud and "unpleasant" in a way, but sometimes you find the most beautiful things in the pure ugliness. So listen to it a couple times and let me know what you think. :3

Hissing Fauna, Are You The Destroyer? Is a great place to start. They've gone through two major phases, the first being very twee and inspired by bands like The Kinks and Hissing Fauna represents very well (IMO) the period where they begun to change. If you liked that, Skeletal Lamping is another of my favourites.
