Did you catch this? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nLa7TgaEEAE She really doesn't need to "funk it up"...

really short but brilliant and the venue was perfect. what a great guy!

aw thanks, i hadn't seen that. he is so so great.

yay, I'm in! :)

Oh really!? I've lived in Gothenburg for a while and all I wanted was to stalk them all over the city and beg them to go back together :)

I love them so much! Too bad they're not going to release any more albums...

Hi :) I didn't get to go to see My Brightest Diamond in the end :( One day I'll manage it! Did you go? How was it? Cx

yes, i'm excited, it will be wonderful.

Hello, ta very much =) I must have a peruse of your top tracks; I need some inspiration!

"soon, yes" from CS

Gah! Only just seen your 'shout'... too shy anyway.... ;-)

Nay, didn't make it in the end! Should have given me a shout, could have gone for a beer!

Yeah, it also can't factor in the pretentious points either that you'd get for, say... only liking someone's early stuff ;) ;)

Upgraded to medium... but allegedly we share Joni Mitchell and that's news to me xx

Yup, bought my ticket a few moments ago. Should be ace, been dying to see Diane Cluck again for ages.

yes, have got ,y tickets for the last one..can't wait!

Hey, thanks! Saw her last year in Manchester's Deaf Institute and there were probably 20 people or less, so hopefully it won't be sold out before I get some dough on it. She improvised songs and poetry in the streets of Rusholme. Maybe she'll crop up all over Lancaster! :D

thanks for accepting the friend request. best wishes from the states.

I did NOT know, thanks for giving me the heads up! Awesome.

Sad it's the final one - but so glad it's on a Friday.....

Eh up! Only just got crackin' on this, but I'm hooked. How goes it?

Good for you ploughing the underloved alternative music in Lancaster scene! I suppose there isn't the "native" population density around Lancaster to tap into sometimes and the uni lot are all transient young 'uns anyhow! Do you know of Serious Sam Barrett? He's from Preston/Skipton way i think and does folky stuff. He's also involved in Penrith Calling and on here he's "yorkrambler13". Anyhow, can't say I know a lot about folk-y music but can't say i'm adverse to it - have you seen the daft band, Wierd (sic) Strings? brilliant and daft! Anyhow, not sure will make it to Ms Hersh :( We are over on Good Friday - April 10th (at Morecambe) and probably spending the evening back towards Kendal so if you've got any suggestions for stuff to see on the evening, fill us in :)

Well hello there Lancaster person! I see you're responsible for Lancaster musicings? How marvellous! As I said to Girlonatrain, I didn't think there was as much about there "in my day" as there appears to be now so hurrah to you! But then I was younger and probably didn't know where to look and also there wasn't fab things like Last FM to help, etc! Are you involved with "Kendal Calling" (or indeed Penrith Calling as i think it should be relabelled!) posse?

Hey! I did some improv with them at Holy Trinity once, with Jez Riley French. x

I was at the Hamilton game at Pittodrie near the start of the season - that was just the WORST thing ever. Played off the park by a bunch of kids and lower league veterans. Sad times. I try to pay less and less attention to Scottish football, but I can't help it!

Yes indeed! If I had my way, all of us Dandies would like Glissando! I can't wait to play with them at the end of the month. Lovely people. Big thumbs up. PS - I bet you're the only Aberdeen fan in Lancaster!

Thoroughly excellent evening on Tuesday - thanks!!

Yes, we've got our Unthank tickets, thankyou! We were/are giving Chris Garneau some serious thought...

hey lawmy old bean, thanks for playing my tune. hope alls good with you.

thanks for the nice comment dude. hope you're well. enjoy the record and see you soon, tom

thanks for connecting with the psychedelic wooded underground scene at fell foot wood. barry

Think I've confirmed enough for a few months now... though maybe not. Xiu Xiu is looking popular based on the listing here. Efterklang for me tomorrow!

I'd highly recommend End of the Road. Again. How's everything going?

nice taste here dude.. welcome to fuck mainstream

What a strange coincidence :) And yes Baby Dee is cool..bye!
