So I'm sitting here in the middle of my clusterfuck of hell and this blogoteque site (thanks for setting it to English for me... haha) has been a delightful diversion. I especially like the recent Lambchop and Sigur Ros ones, (Vid Spilum Endalaust is probably my favorite Sigur Ros song) but I have been systematically going through the whole archive. I did not know about the site, but I have definitely seen a few of these videos before on youtube. Nice to know where they come from. And I acquired the new Eels album via (il)legal download. They're now on Vagrant Records, and I don't think they send anything to KZSU. This is probably a good thing because Vagrant mostly comprises of shitty emo bands. Happy studying!

Yeah. I got it. I haven't listened to it yet. I am planning on knocking out the reviews after finals, and I try to do the whole review on the first listen, even though that's probably not the best way of reviewing stuff. I will check it out soon, though. Finally, I don't know if you are a fan of Eels (I've never been able to get into them until now), but I've been listening to their new album (Hombre Lobo) lately and it's quite good. I think you would like it because it reminds me a lot of M. Ward and The Magnetic Fields.

I'm not saying that I'm not a last.fm stalker. I'm just saying that I was specifically not a last.fm stalker yesterday. I have done my fair share of stalking, though. Haha. But as you said, it was down all day, so I had no ability to stalk! An hour ago is the first time I visited last.fm since Thursday and it was out of curiosity to see that all of my recommended artists are now slowcore artists...hahah. But I don't think it's that strange or surprising. I have been in a Mark K mood for a week now, and had a fleeting Wilco mood based on the movie night. And I doubt you listened to Modest Mouse today! :P Furthermore, I just got an e-mail saying that I had a shout, so I came back. /defensive mode. Haha. Lost Verses is now my most listened to track. And I played it multiple times on the car ride to the show, too.

Definitely! It may be hard to get a time slot, though... everyone is so excited to do 3-6am and keep the station on all the time, which is awesome...I guess we can try Thursday night during our show (which was cut down to an hour). May be a bit brief. Of course, there's the whole class thing on Fridays, which may make Thursday less than desirable. But I am definitely interested!

Lambchop est un groupe americain a geometrie variable autour de Kurt Wagner. Ils existent depuis une bonne dizaine d'annee. Tu peux ecouter pas mal de leur musique gratos sur last.fm. Puisque tu aimes Yo La Tengo and M Ward tu devrais adorer Lambchop.

Wow, sorry for that double post. That first St. Vincent post did not show up after I posted it so I rewrote it. Anyways sorry for confusion.

And I really like St. Vincent too. Her show before the National was sooooooo good. Now, Now is SUCH a great song and I love the entire album. I do not know what St. Vincent did to Robyn to make her hate her so much though. She is coming to play her own show in Seattle in Feb. but she is playing a 21+ show which is no good.

And yes I really like St. Vincent. I loved her opening set for the National. The song Now, Now is SUCH an amazing song but her whole album is great as well. And I really don't know what St. Vincent did to Robyn to make her hate her so much.

I am pretty sure that Last Flowers was written around the time of Ok Computer. It is one of my favorite songs on either of the disks. 4 minute Warning is great as well although it had to grow on me but I love it now. I also like Up on the Latter. That guitar riff is great. All on that CD are great though.

My diskbox finally came (friday) and it is insanely beautiful! I still have not listened to the vinyl yet but I plan on doing that sometime today. What are your thoughts on Disc 2? I really like everything on it, especially Go Slowly and Last Flowers...how Last Flowers did not make it onto the album I do not know.

So, All seven or eight of Thom Yorke's remixes from the Eraser are coming out next week (three on monday, three on tuesday, and three on wednesday) and Jonny's score for There Will Be Blood comes out on tuesday. Another Radiohead filled week!!!! That band is SOOOOO amazing.
