I've been planning to re download you're old one, play it while draeing n shit. I won't drink too bad, I'm mainly a cider faggot, if I'm drinking anything strong I just can't taste it. Man, I'm jelly of that art student, our course is really loose and easy going. Plenty of lectures but almost no obligation to work during uni hours. We take our projects home, leading me to underestimate the course and struggle with the important assignments. Stuff like album covers and children's books, was cool. It kinda made me resent drawing though :\, taken me this long to start changing my attitude towards it. How was your work? Make any vidyas or cool things?

Ups and downs everywhere. It was a really great time, made soom cool friends near the last third or so after spending the rest of my time in my room. I failed the course only due to not handing one or two projects in, I'm back in as long as I hand in something by july though. Funny thing about Illustration is the work can be as primitive as Quentin Blake's and not be a skillful drawing, but it'll get good marks. I'm not a very good alcoholic yet but I'm getting there, next year with my new flatmates will definitely do it. Also I still want to draw you guys an album cover, I just need a bit of time to get back in the zone. Overall 3 stars would buy again, could've been more punctual.

It was always the characterisation and the struggle between peace and the path through war to salvation, which hooked me beyond the initial GIANT ROBOT FIGHT. Given, however, much in the same way as you though I was far too young to appreciate it fully so I have been meaning to go back to it. I did watch the film a few years back though. Also, Yang and Yun are based on Duo and Trowa.

You've gotta imagine just how hard it is to come up with music like that. Not impossible, but hardly something four or so teenagers can manage practising only so often. From my experience of local bands, anyway. I think we have a hard enough time just writing six or seven songs a year, I don't know how you musicians can actually do it. I'm just in it to look cool and get the babes, obv.

I can't really talk bass so I can't say why I'd like picks. I guess fingers really are the best choice. I'll have a go through them songs. I'm putting off actually learning bass properly til I have more free time. Astra really are wonderful, though I only have the weirding. Bought it solely because the cover is beautiful. I don't know what prog I can recommend that isn't obvious. Rush's 2112 album is nice, very rocky. I've heard a few songs by Yes, they're okay but indescribably faggy. King Crimson is a must. There's an old band called High Tide who I absolutely adore, but they never got anywhere so I imagine its hard to find their stuff. Definitely worth it though. (bear in mind I know little about good music and all these may turn out to be shit)

Same here, They seem to only tour in the states which is unfortunate. Ah well, hopefully they'll come to their senses soon enough :p This year is certainly turning out to be a great year for artists and album releases, even if there is a two month wait for Freezepop's new album. I have Ashbury Heights' new one to hold me over til' then. By the way if you've not heard that yet, I strongly recommend checking it out. Very different from their previous albums, a little less gothic (though there are still some pretty dark tracks in the mix) and a little more poppy, I actually think it's their best yet. Tracks I recommend are Scars of a Lighthouse, Dancers Nocturne, The Ashes in Her Breath and Traffic, though they are all bloody marvellous.

Freezepop's new Album is coming out in early November.
