hey ;) I just managed to listen to it (so sorry for answering a bit late, I'm quite busy at the moment, criminal law and all those stuff you know -.-) and I really love it as I love all the stuff this band has produced so far, highly unlikely that they will ever disappoint me (I'm a huge fan of Elize to be honest <3) the rhythm is quite infectious/powerful as usual, maybe catchy is the appropriate word at this point ^^ and just as you I can't wait to listen to the entire album :))

haha exactly, people try hard to find an explain for everything analyzing the same thing again and again taking it to pieces but all they need to do is to feel and listen closely ;) it's impossible to find an efficient and all-time working formula when it comes to music :)

this always depends on your opposite ;) it seems that for a person like me neither throwing around technical terms nor having a professional relationship to music it's impossible to know what good music is about ;) but I appreciate your attitude at this point :)

haha talking this way you remind me of a friend of mine ;D as you've already mentionned there are lots of similarities between his former albums (and it would also be difficult to compare a DT album to one of another artist....for me at least) but the most striking one is the one between Epicloud and Addicted Anneke van Giersbergen might be a reason for this as well I was quite happy about this fresh collaboration :) but imo it's the fact that beside all this technical stuff like multiple guitar layering aso that he always manages to put in such a range of emotions, high and depths and this is what makes the new and also former albums that special, it's true and not a word of a lie :) so far my modest and non-professional interpretation of the things ^^

it's one of my favs too and I expected few albums with the same excitement as this one ;) it's like I could listen to it for hours without understanding the whole beauty and a really good album should never get boring at all....
