Hello HighTides! I saw that you have a pretty good taste in music and thought that you'd maybe like our music as well. We are three girls from the forests of Sweden and we are going to record our very first album in Woodstock this summer! We would love if you checked out this song http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BmTj6CzmAp4 ! Let us know what you think (it's much appreciated) by commenting the video, and also check out our cover of 'Kathy's Song' http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=44kjqZUC5PU that we got the chance to play live for Paul Simon! Love, [url=http://www.facebook.com/VIDARmusic]VIDAR[/url]

Hey, man. I see you listen to Red Stars Theory. Look, I've lost all my RST mp3s and I can't find them back, so could you please upload any of their albums please? I'd really appreciate it.

HAHAH. damn i love ur avatar. nice...

Have you heard the Neon Indian remix of Grizzly Bear's "Cheerleader"?? It's pretty amazing. :)

yay girls indeed.

A very nice collection of music!

Welcome! We invite you to acquaintance. To get started, you can listen to my rock group. http://www.lastfm.ru/music/Isaya . I would be happy to continue to communicate! Joy! Good luck!

I loved the mix you posted. Welcome to the group.

Check [artist]Vera November[/artist] and [artist]ray rumours and the no-eyed deers[/artist] ;-) (if u loved [artist]Electrelane[/artist]

Hey there, thanks for your shout on my artist page. My CD is available from my website here: http://www.russsargeant.co.uk/ . Peace, [artist]Russ Sargeant[/artist]

From your charts, you're almost a poster boy for my three sister groups [group]SlowSound[/group], [group]SlowerSound[/group], and (you guessed it!) [group]SlowestSound[/group]. I count 9 of your top 15 in our connections, and all three share one radio, tagged [tag]slodio[/tag]. Come listen to the Big Pink Pillow Radio and join if you like what you hear. The first two groups have maxxed out thier connections at 200, but the newest one is only at 100, and your connection suggestions are always welcome...

he'd probably try to play it, but he'd be terribly out of tune and forget the words half way through. Then he'd lose interest, abandon the project, and make a short youtube video with really bad lighting and even worse editing.

haha fine maybe someday I'll be able to work your nickname into an annoying song. What about hipster that do their makeup with their own blood? or crackheads that dress hip while painting with blood? that has to be a bit more painful to listen/look at than regular hipsters and a random blood-spattered crackhead.

ok so 40 years after you left a message in my shoutbox, I decide to come online and reply :) Peter Doherty is fun even if he just seems like a generic blood-spattered crackhead.

i just noticed i never said anything about the pinback line you left on my page. i read it often and usually end up having to put syracuse on :) such an awesome song.

Hmm... That's a tough one... so many good songs to choose from... I'd have to say either "Fly" or "From the Morning".

I like how your about me consists of the entire lyrics to River Man... is that your favorite Nick Drake song?

welcome to the friends connection!

ah, k'naan is great! merci a toi! feel free to recommend music!

belle playlist! salut de montréal

Oui Gravenhurst c'est très bien !! D'ailleurs ils viennent de sortir un single

nice charts!!!

awesome song ^^

Oh yeah, I do like Broken Social Scene..my favorite's It's All Gonna Break

yup yup, open air. but he was a bit of an idiot, to be honest, have a look at the story on wiki. 30 miles from help, and he dies of starvation. NZ is fresh though, after that, come on over to SA. open spaces abound.

howzit bud. you lucky bastard, you. xavier in concert, heh? frothing. green here. listen, have you had a listen to eddie vedder's into the wild soundtrack? and the movie? thought you might like it.

i'm officially jealous. nice one! iron & wine are playing in barcelona in a bit, gonna try and make that one. have you listened to the new album? killer.

what's happening, man? so quiet these days. how are the life plans going?

PS you might wanna think about doing a TEFL course as well, teaching english is a good way to make some cash while travelling...

good for you, those are some cool subjects.. i majored in polsci & english, did some philo, sociology & religious studies along the way. good bases for journalism!

so how are you doing, man? you graduated recently, didn't you? how are the journalism plans going?

oh anticipation.... (dylan movie soundtrack) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/I'm_Not_There

the new album's definately not the best, to much singing and not enough instrementals. yet still good nontheless.

gee thanks, same to you

cloud cult, awesome. *bow*

I&W turns out to be essential walking slowly music (juxtaposed to modest mouse which is essential walking quickly music)

ps turns out post recommendation i realzized he had about 3 goods songs and the rest was complete shit

i have this stubborn thing i do where a band gets a reputation in my head before i get a chance to give them a thorough listen and i find myself boycotting them. this happened with iron and wine and an m&m commerical. I did this to state radio bc i associated it w/ this annoying kid, and man when i finally gave them a real chance i learned my lesson. point being- ill give em a try thanks :)

hey bro, sorry been so quiet, been moving country :) how's life treating you? got a hold of some good new bands? have you given the new kings of leon a go?

You're my neighbor? But how?

Hey, thanks! I haven't actually heard the new Modest Mouse album yet, but I'll be looking into it. -Hayley

thx. my music hasnt been scroblin for a while so this is a little outdated. you have quite the charts yourself aswell.

Yeah man, I've heard of them, I've been looking to get a hold of some of there stuff but haven't gotten around to it yet. I'll check them out soon. later man.

oh i love that kind of music :> <3
