I see some of the social features came back. Still missing a few things, but it is a move forward/correctly backward. I'll keep an eye out and see about resubscribing is the "improvements" keep coming.

Hey you. I totally agree with you about the shitty new lastfm being awful and careless about their unsatisfied users. But at least there's a new Violent Femmes album out (after 16 years, jeeez) and the Melvins leaked two songs already of their new album Basses Loaded (it's actually already finished) maybeeee that's a consolation? I use lastfm only as an archive now in case i get Alzheimer lol. I miss the ability to personalise a profile as well kinda felt like a personal virtual music bookshelf :'(

Well, after years of being a subscriber I decided to stop supporting lastfm since they seem not to care about re-establishing the features that I loved. Scrobbling is nice, but without the social elements this site has lost my interest for the most part. I used to visit it daily, if not many times during a day. Not weeks and months go by and I don't feel the need to check on it. I didn't realize that we are no longer getting email notices of shouts either - so I just now saw a shout from a friend - rather frustrating. Anyway - if they ever get the site back to what it used to be I will reconsider supporting them again - until then I may not be around much.

Thank you for your enthusiastic and brief review of the latest Morrisesey's record. I was a bit surprised by the arrangement (it seems to me that the director made them unusual on purpose) and I wasn't quite ready for some songs. On the whole I would say that I haven't "relished" the album yet, but I feel that it will become significant for me. About the Uncle Zhora (so called Boy George in the USSR earlier) - very crude work at it. It wasn't pleasant to me. My favourite album with the Uncle Zhora - "Collors by Numbers" and some songs. Still I forgot to write to you that were pleasant last albums Xiu Xiu , Belle&Sebastian
