Happy new year!!🍾 I’ve heard a little about the doc, looking forward to watching with my sister who is an enormous Judee Sill fan and got me into her! Did you enjoy it?

Haven't been able to find the Judee Sill doc anywhere, can't seem to buy or rent it atm unfortunately! Will keep looking. Not much in the diary at the moment, but seeing Depeche Mode at the end of the month. How about you?

I also looked and couldn't find it. Where are you seeing DM? Only got a few things lined up. The Smile, IDLES and Nivhek in Paris.

It happens, I have many albums like that which I always see in shops but always end up with something else, even if I love it!

Compliments on your 5th LASTFM ANNIVERSARY today :-) ... What do you like most about lastfm right now ( and what did you like back when you joined us)? ... P.S. I'll present this piece (e.g. in AppleMusic) to your "birthday": ... genre: experimental/minimalistic -> ... "before midnight" (with 103 beats per minute): ... https://www.last.fm/music/Erkan+Y%C4%B1lmaz/_/before+midnight -> this is the 6th track, from album ("piano edition (album #2)") ... Let's all stay indoors - away from the worrying Corona virus - and scrobble our most liked tracks, more than usual! ... Some items are unavailable in the stores lately here in Germany ( e.g. milk, noodles, toilet papers... ) And in your country?

Wishing you a wonderful first Tuesday in 2019 from the chilly German side of Europe, it's superb to see you are here at lastfm for over 3 years already :-) ... When you recall now - how did your musical taste form over these years? ... Wishing the best for your 108888 scrobbles, and "1777 artists scrobbled" milestones ... How I stumbled upon your lastFM profile, by the way? ... lastfm shows you as #11 in this weekly "Scrobble Leaderboard" charts: last DOT fm/user/obdewll_x/listening-report/week ... I am at #3 there ... It's nice to meet you

Yeah, they're always great live. Although saw them in Poland last mont and they blew a couple of amps which was a shame. Will be intersting to hear what their new incarnation will sound like. Love Oxbow. They're good live too! They played the Dome earlier this year. Was meant to see them at Supersonic but ended up going to another festival. Thin Black Duke possible top 3 albums of the year?? Any other gigs lined up?

Yeah thin black duke makes my top 3, but still comfortably behind Serenade in Red and Narcotic Story compared to the rest of their discog. I'm planning on seeing Shellac next month, and Emma Ruth Rundle fairly soon as well, but with uni starting back up next week and moving in I haven't got much spare time/money. You seem to have a pretty nice schedule though on your profile!! Jarboe should be interesting

What are the other two? Serenade in Red and An Evil Heat are on par for my fave Oxbow albums. Hopefully Shellac will be good (for £30?!). Also saw them in Poland and they played all of their "slower" songs so were a bit disappointing for me. Never heard of ERR despite being a big fan of Red Sparowes many years ago. Will give her a spin. What you studying? Too many gigs coming up. Jarboe should be good. She's collaborating with Father Murphy who are good. You should def check them out. https://open.spotify.com/album/0ysfky6g3Tk6RG2B8c4Moo

thanks, that father murphy album is some pretty cool shit. The other two are prob the new Richard Dawson and Elder albums, but I haven't listened to Chelsea's new album yet so that could end up being up there!! oh and I study astrophysics. What have you been digging this year?

Will check them out. Hope Chelsea's new album will be good. Didn't really enjoy Abyss, at least the liver performance seemed a bit meh. Ooooooooo. Whereabouts are you studying? All about Horoscopes right (just kidding) My fave album this year has prob been Pissed Jeans. Love Without Emotion = big tune. Others are Oxbow, Xiu Xiu, Arca, Drew McDowall , Mount Eerie, Biosphere, Kelly Lee Owens and Yowler (although it's a reissue from last year)

I'm at Exeter, so good uni but not a good local scene unless you like your whiny emo punk. I'll give the new pissed jeans a listen, not explored them much before. And I always forget that that xiu xiu record came out this year! nice album that, get up is an amazing track.

Wasn't big on that pissed jeans, sounded like a lesser jesus lizard tbh. New Chelsea is pretty cool but a little bit homogenous, need some more listens on it to properly form an opinion. Def not on apokalypsis' level though.
