Haha I think the reviews will be more interesting than the album itself. Everyone gonna be torn that Aaron won't be singing on it to the point that they'll probably overlook that there's still 5 of the same talented band members on the record. They'll find some way to make up for his missing presence I think.

I'm more imressed with Dark Is The Way... than New Surrender. It's definitely a progression. It's not on the same level as Cities or Friendship but it's a confident stride in the right direction. What's your thoughts?

Haha, honestly, I haven't been listening to a lot of metal lately. However, For Today came out with a new album this past Tuesday and it's pretty awesome. So did Disturbed lol.

Sorry I am late responding to your comment, I haven't been on Last.fm in awhile. I love recovery. Every song is unique and everyone is catchy and great to listen to. Recovery is a huge improvement from Relapse.

no problem, i almost wrote one yesterday, but hadn't really wrapped my head around the overall package. I feel like I've got a strong grasp of it now, and my opinions on it are pretty set in stone with that review. A very good, albeit highly frustrating album.

Great album, I don't remember when was the last time I liked that much so many songs on one record. I love the new fast flow and the overall style of this cd is really refreshing.

Yeah, Lil Wayne's verse was barely average at best.. he really should go back to rapping like he did on Tha Carter II. But when Eminem came on, it blew my mind. Yeah, Almost Famous is easily one of my favorites. So far I'm more than happy with the album.

On the first listen I really got into it, and on the second I'm realizing how quite a few of the beats are a little too mainstream for my tastes.. but all the same, Eminem's flow is intact and for the most part, that's all that matters. Either way, I've already got a lot of new favorites that will be stuck on repeat for the next few months. But in short, yeah, I'm really diggin' it so far.

Yeah. A lot different. Their first album is 'Sound Shattering Sound', which is pretty good. Really loud songs. Not tame. Really has some guts. Then 'Are you involved?'. I like the majority of songs off this album, my favourites being 'Sexxxy', 'Fast Girl'. and 'Raindrops'. Not as outgoing but the songs all go well together. Best album to listen to. As for 'Breed Obsession' Not many on there I really enjoy. Its okay. Bit gutsy.

it's awesome. it's a little different than their other ones, but if you listen to a few times through, you'll grow to like it. it's heavier sounding and they added backup vocals.

Valencia is awesome. They're your typical happy pop/punk kinda sounding band. They have two CDs and both of them are equally as good. I'd recommend them to anyone and everyone, haha.

I haven't really listened to all of it yet. Not as good as there old stuff I must say. Too tame. Nothing beats their album Are you involved? Love it. Hopefully I can go see them in concert!

Well, you are talking to a EITS fan through and through. I'd recommend starting with Friday Night Lights and moving on to The Earth Is Not a Dead Cold Place. If you get a taste for them I'd recommend anything but The Rescue. That album really isn't anything spectacular. If you enjoy EITS, try listening to Russian Circles, Godspeed You! Black Emperor and Broken Social Scene. Then you can call yourself a post-rocker, lol ;)

it's absolutely great, great riffs, amazing vocals from claudio, it does not let you down. You can hear the influence from the producers, they have worked with artists like NIN and QOTSA.

I personally love the new album. It's a bit different than their usual stuff concerning lyrics. A bit more down to earth, I guess you can. But still very, very good. Though, if you can't get into his high singing...that's not gonna change haha.
