"Leaving Eden" und "Planetary Confinement" solltest dir unbedingt mal anhören, die Alben haben mir vor ein paar Jahren (damn ich werd alt, sogar schon ~8 Jahre her) sehr viel bedeutet. Sind beide ziemlich traurig und hoffnungsraubend, also da muss die Stimmung dafür passen.

Na endlich, die guten alten christlichen Traditionen die uns das Werkzeug zum schaffen heidnischer Musik bereitstellen :p Das neue Antimatter Album gefällt mir recht gut, ich denk ich mags im Ganzen mehr als das vorige. Find den Stil auf dem Album recht verfestigt und gut komponiert, die Stimmung ist etwas weniger düster, aber dafür kann ich ja zu den älteren Alben greifen ;) Und "Comrades" ist find ich wieder mal ein starkes Akustik-Stück, so wie ich Antimatter am liebsten mag. Welche Alben von Antimatter sagen dir am meisten zu?

Ah versteh. Leidensgenosse! Mein erstes Keyboard war auch "so ein schreckliches billig Keyboard ohne Tastendynamik" *schauder*. Wenn du dir was neues zulegst, kauf dir unbedingt eins mit Midi-Ausgang und ein Audio-Interface für den Computer. Mit Software hat man ja praktisch unendliche Möglichkeiten zur Soundgestaltung, das macht dann gleich wieder soo viel mehr Spaß da rumzuspielen :)

Hey Tobias :) Fein, dass du "The Starwheel" auch so schätzen kannst, das Album hat mir schon einige gedankenverlorene Nächte bereichert. Ein anderes Album, mit ähnlicher Atmosphäre, das ich sehr mag ist Sinke Dûs - Akrasia, vielleicht magst dir das auch mal anhören wenn du in entsprechender Stimmung bist. Wie gehts dir mit dem Keyboard spielen? Hast dich schon ein bisschen an eigener Musik probiert?

Hey man, I was just listening to Astronautalis, he's quite the odd one out in hip hop. Has some very interesting lyrics (pretty poetic at times) and different instrumentals. I think his style would suit your taste, so if you find the time / interest, give him a try. :D

Yeah I agree that the cover isn't the best thing out. Have to admit that I personally haven't found it to be all that horrible, but it's a bit strange for a black metal release indeed. Luckily the music is better than the album cover though, haha

Added the new Marina album to the list, been meaning to do that anyway. Sigh's new album is really good, really liked it when I first heard it yesterday. Talking about black metal, I was blown away by an album by a band called Bosse-de-Nage. Their new album All Fours is absolutely stellar. Great drumming, several different influences heard here and there, and most importantly of all, interesting for a full hour.

Hahaha I see you tried to listen to A$AP Rocky.. I'm guessing it wasn't a very pleasant experience. I'd say his first album (actually a mixtape) is a better bet, but it's probably not going to be your cup of tea either. I really like his style of rapping and the production he chooses. He even admits some of the songs on his last album were too commercial and kind of shitty. On another note, any albums that have really impressed you as of late?

There are a couple of gigs in Germany, and I believe just one in The Netherlands. I would love to go to that dutch gig, which is actually a festival, but meh.

Oh yes, Goethe. I still have some issues understanding parts of that poem, but it's subtlety and simple nature is very charming :)

I agree almost 100% with your statement on German sounding forced or kitschy when used in poetry, however, I love the way she rhymes some of the words in that song and the way they are sung is great too imo. If you don't like the German in the song, all of her other songs (as you may have noticed, except for Voyage Voyage, are in English). Narrow, her second album, is a bit less impressive in terms of quality, I do have to note that. Her debut is absolutely wonderful and doesn't really contain any bad or boring song (of which I can find a few on Narrow, especially near the end). But yeah, I've never really loved the German language, but I try to atleast appreciate it at times. I'm pretty close to the German border so I get confronted with it a decent amount.

Since you're from Germany, I figured I just had to recommend you an artist. I posted about her on facebook already, too, I'm talking about Soap&Skin. The song I recommend is ''Vater'', the only song she's made that's in German, but also the best song she's made in my eyes. Also, she's from Austria, to make sure there's no wrong info :)

But, not every guy is going to be the same way though. Ofcourse society expects someone to behave in a certain way, but I know plenty of guys that will just do whatever they want to do regardless of what others think. I think I know more extraverted people than introverted. But maybe it also depends on where you are and what people visit that place.. It certainly has something to do with age too, but since we're both 17, age is kind of ruled out.

I don't think there's a big difference in terms of broad interests. Guys can be into loads of things, but so can girls. On the other hand, both can also be very shallow. It's just that you have to bump into the right people, regardless of their gender, I guess. The only difference I could give between guys and girls are that girls might be a bit more understanding and might pay more attention than guys do. In general I don't think it makes that big of a difference though :)

Do you think that boys are shallow and flat characters? I think that it might be true for most of them... but most girls are equally shallow, I think. At least that's what my experience tells me.

I'd try to make something happen, but there's literally nobody that I know who's into similar music as I am.. That makes it kind of hard to drag people to some kind of festival. So I don't have a lot of music-based friends I'd say, aside from that, I know enough people that are cool enough and I can talk to and all that. Just not on a music level or on a special level. A lot of people seem kind of flat around here, or I'm just not looking closely enough.

I barely ever took notice, but we're both 17 and we're geographically quite near eachother. It's always cool to find more broad-minded people 'in the area', so to speak. I don't know how it is over there, but in this part of The Netherlands, it's pretty boring and uninteresting. The south is veeeeery uneventful and I barely see anything spectacular happening. (In terms of meeting interesting people and seeing - in general - interesting events take place.) Oh life can be so boring sometimes :') If I ever have the chance, I'll probably move out of The Netherlands, since this country is slowly working it's way downhill...
