Sorry about my late answer, I was travelling. Yes, actually, I don't really know the early neither his late material but the part I know, I don't love it. And when people are blind and start loving him like he has created that all, like there was no music before and he came all by himself with that sound, then, he becomes a symbol of the things I don't like about people & industry & media. I haven't heard about Spotify, thank you. But if you want, you can suggest me an album (Stray Cats).

Yea, you're right! I can say LATELY he's my favorite artist, I can always find a new lick or trick. Even my sister, a 10 years old girl, said: "I Like Chuck Berry. He's got a cool voice".People say he's always playing the same stuff but it's not true. He does it but he also creates a world of beautiful sounds that you can always visit and get impressed. If he repeats a phrase, listen to it, why would he change it? It's about feeling and enjoying, it's not about playing-the-fastest-and-coldest song you can. Sometimes I'm listening to him he ends up with a extraordinary lick, I almost fall out of the chair! I've been discovering his "new" (ending 60's - early 70's) stuff. Different but also so better than reality of music, of any genre. I don't think Elvis is the king, he was the king of media. Good artist, not that good rocker . Well, I like of one song or two but as other bluesmen (B.B King, SRV) I don't like him. Give me a sign, what can I hear of Stray Cats?

I'm a big lover of him but I can't say "he sure is my favorite artist". To me is pretty difficult to select, my favorite songs are always changing. I almost don't like John Lee Hooker. He's probably the first bluesman I've ever heard, I mean, because I wanted to but since the beginning I wasn't passionate. Yea, whatever you want to hear, old school is always in the top. If you don't respect it, you've got nothing to offer. Actually, rockabilly is a mistery to me. I haven't heard nothing I can call rockabilly, I imagine. And you? Are you around it?

I've got to say I prefer "Bye Bye Johnny". But of course, Johnny B. Goode is a good song as well. Little Richard is your favorite artist? Seems 2 is your lucky number, it's time to increase it. Yea, one day without blues I can't stand, those are the ones I really love. I do love other stuff too - rock & roll played by Stones and country and soul and blablabla BUT my love is mainly bluesy. You also listen to a lotta good music - that reggae stuff I see in your library seems to be pretty interesting. And the other musicians we've got in common, of course.

Let me remember. I think I was about 12 years old and I haven't discovered my (if I call it like this) music. Then, one day, I was listening to music in one of that sites who give you 30 seconds of the song. I don't know if they still exist, probably not but that was my heaven when I was younger. I've read there some magazine or something like this had elected "Johnny B. Goode" the best song "conducted" by guitar. I've searched it and listen to it. I was impressed, that was pretty different from all the rest. But I didn't know how to discover more stuff like that, I've read some names like Elvis and Little Richard but listening to "Love Me Tender" and "Tutti Frutti" I wasn't feeling the feeling, you know. I would listen to him again just 'bout a year or two after that, when I've heard he's going to perform in a city "next" (4 hours from here) to mine. I started listening again and fell in love and then, after the show, you can imagine, what could I do? I couldn't return no more.
