I listened to CRKLR on my mp3 player and headphones a few nights ago and enjoyed it a lot, actually. I think I'll be downloading the rest of CRKLR's material soon (right now I have 5 songs)... thank you for proving my point for me, your holiness. i don't even know where to begin. my music tastes actually stem from music that i find to be enjoyable, not your multimedia infrastructure disculture. i simply listen to that which pleases me, without some empty pull to be "cutting-edge" or "avant-garde" simply for the sake of it. that being said, if i feel like listening to someone like xenakis, stockhausen or roads i will do so, but personally, granular synthesis or what have you is not what im usually in the mood for as i sit at the computer. if you'd like to talk music i'd be glad to, as i've been studying composition for just about as long as i can remember. i only ask that you don't call me a child/compare yourself to the fucking dalai lama

Sorry brother, I've not been very in-touch with the inter-world lately. I've mostly just been listening to CDs and not scrobbling them. I've been listening to a lot of Steve Reich lately. If you haven't heard his newest release, "Daniel Variations" yet, I suggest you do so. It is a masterpiece with a very powerful and important message. Oh man, I've wanted a black pocket trumpet for times and times! Not because I'd ever be able to effectively play it, but because of how obviously siqq they are. I figured you were the guitarist. Man, I envy you man. If I could iprov guitar riffs like you do, I'd be... not me. I haven't been up to much musicality lately. I need money for equipment to do anything decent. And stuff.

BTW, what instrument do you play in B+A?

Earthgone was the one I listened to. Diamonds+Jekyll hadn't even been uploadded yet, I am now going to listen to that one! And I can't wait for the future release. Let me know when it's available for listening.

Elliot Sharp, Behold... The Arctopus, and Child Abuse are all things I enjoy. The other things you mentioned sound familiar but nothing comes to mind.

Yep, Cheval De Frise and Yowie are two of my greatest musical pleasures. I am really into this Bow+Arrow here. I listened to all of it indluding the full 20 minute tracks entirely. I'm actually starting up this noise improv/performance art project soon once I get the money for the remaining stuff I need for it. It's a really crazy idea and too comlicated to go into details about for now.

Heh, I actually went to go and add Bow+Arrow on myspace only to find I had already added them. Or maybe they added me? And then I thought about it and didn vuagely remember them. Where can I find that comp you mentioned? I really hope at the show it is the full Koenji Hyakkai band and not just Yoshida, but I don't know. I'll try and find out and possibly opt out of going.

Ahoy! I took your word for it and am greatly enjoying these Bow+Arrow tracks! Yeah, you've got a lot of extremely obscure stuff on your list that I've never heard of before. How do you find this stuff? And can you give me any music recomendations?
