According to this site, we are Neighbours. I just came over to borrow your lawn mower.

Our music compatibility is still low. That is sad. Give me your top five favorite current tunes. I am going to start listening to them immediately. xo

Holy Smokes! I don't know how I missed your last message. Just read it now for the first time. I haven't been watching it regularly. Who is this flowerbud bedazzled babe of a contestant you speak of?

Thanks for the scrobbler!! It looks really useful if only because I have a great affinity for the word, "scrobbler." Also, thanks for the video! That was pretty great, but you're right- still ambiguous about the pants.

last.fm log, 4/23/10: There is currently an unprecedented amount of enigmatic tobacco consumption taking place in my top eight. Three of the eight photographs depict shadow-darkened rocker dudes fingering a cig or stogie. Another thumbnail depicts a distant-eyed Phil Lesh slithering through a marshy glade on his hands and knees; one can only imagine smoking of some sort preceded THAT image, as well. Seems like a trite thing to document, but I know I'll appreciate backtracking nostalgically through these wall posts when I'm 35 years old and on lunch break from Barnes & Noble. Good looking out, Boobs.

Damn, BoobsRock. It's refreshing to encounter an individual so confident in his masculinity that he's willing to openly display a top ten dominated by En Vogue and Salt N Pepa on a web site populated by judgmental teenaged hipsters. It's obvious that the thoroughgoing self-assuredness evinced by your incredibly dapper profile photo is much more than an ironic (and relatively uncreative) affectation.

I just added Dale Oliver to my library. His profile has the following- "Some of his best known themes include 'I am' Used by TNA star AJ Styles and 'I’m everything' which is used by virtually every hispanic wrestler to ever wrestle in TNA. 'I’m everything' does bare obvious similarities to Carlos Santana’s song 'Smooth'." I think that might be my new favorite quote on the whole of the internet.

Heh. I would start with Daisies of the Galaxy or either of their compilations - Essential Eels or Useless Trinkets. Let me know if you need help finding anything!

Ahh! disregard my last message. I thought you said that you'd be peeved if I--I, meaning me, myself missed another Kurt Vile show! You meant that you'd be peeved at yourself if you--you, being the one and only Boobsrock missed another Kurt Vile show. I get it, I get it. Slow on the uptake, I know. It's been an indescribably long day.

Amazing San Fran, eh? What pulls you in that direction? I am sure you won't have anything short of a blast there! RIch Wexler is his name. He hosts shows at the Green Line Cafe in West Philly. He had French Quarter come a few weeks ago, which was incredible! He also created the Sherman Community Arts. You can sign up for their mailer here if you're interested: http://www.shermanarts.org/

You many know this already, but Langhorne Slim gets his name from Langhorne, PA, where he grew up. He got his start playing gigs in Philly---local roots!! You MUST see him live! He's got an incredibly exuberant stage presence. He turns any joint he plays into a riotous and wonderful honky tonk. I see that Personal and the Pizzas is playing that show with K.V. Can't even begin to fathom what "pizza punk" might entail. My friend is DJing on the jumbotron at the new piazza on 2nd and Hancock tonight. Come check it out if you have time before Sunset Rubdown. --it's right down the street from Johnny B's. The piazza, itself, is definitely a sight to be seen itself!!

Steal away, my fair fella friend! Sunset Rubdown this weekend! How marvelous! Have you given a listen to the Daytrotter version of "The Mending of the Gown"? I'm smitten with it. Way better than the album version...

Yo Boobs, it's been awhile! Were you at the most recent Phosphorescent show at Johnny B's?

Truth be told, I know very little about Jason. The selling point for me was to see Deer Tick open for him. Are you a Deer Tick fan?

Wizard Rock Bands: Harry and the Potters. The Whomping Willows. The Moaning Myrtles. Catchlove. Ginny and the Heartbreakers. Draco and the Malfoys. Oh man, there are tons. They are all way too much fun. I recently went to the Yule Ball at Bryn Mawr College and saw The Whomping Willows, Moaning Myrtles, Mudbloods, and Ministry of Magic- super great show. I was at the NIN show actually. It was my first, and I absolutely loved it! I had a super great time. Did you go? As far as Bright Eyes- unfortunately I have never seen Conor live. I would really love to though! I am sure he is absolutely amazing live, so sad though. GO LISTEN TO WIZARD ROCK! It will change your world. ^.^ *or, you know, at least give you some awesome bands to listen to*

I know Grant Smoker has his own band (After 3AM), and sometimes plays at several local areas. I hear they will be changing their style and rewriting some things, though, so it may be a little bit before their next show. They're on my Myspace page. I speak with him and his wife, Stacy, occasionally

Heh, I sometimes have that same tendency... when a song really hits me. Most of those songs, however, do wind up on my MP3 player. Other than times when I'm sleeping, or taking a shower... I always have it on me. Often times I find myself singing out-loud when certain songs play. I'm sure it bugs the hell out of the neighbors, but I really get into it... air guitar and all!

Well if it isn't RTE! Triple the plays in a quarter of the time... I really do listen to way too much music. To be fair, though, it is what keeps me sane. A dragon who has lost his mind is never a good thing. I can see your tasteful choice in music hasn't changed much in the years its been.
