So this new felt revelation you're describing is something that came to you while on one of your trips? Its such a strange worldview to have. So, from my perspective of what you're telling me, it's just a further reinforcement of your previous beliefs about fate and the predestined nature of everything? It's interesting how you now classify it as being a beautiful thing <3 Life IS beautiful and I totally can agree with that. I remember how thinking about fate used to put you in an uncomfortable mood of involuntary complacency.

Btw, my sociology class is repeatedly mind fucking me, and I love it! Once again, all my beliefs are being challenged. One philosophical perspective of the subject is that every belief system is irrational, because "truth is contained within the system that creates it". For example, science is only true because of scientific evidence, which is only true when one accepts the evidence that make it true, as true. Which is so true if you think about it. Woah, I reached my limit on that last message! Anyway, by new age, I mean astrology, the healing powers of crystals, herbal medicine, etc. She's been influencing me a lot in that regard. So as a result of her, I'm slowly developing an interest and belief, if you will, in astrology and the signs of the zodiac. Once you look into the specifics of it, it gets really interesting, and eerily accurate quickly. I also recently bought my own crystal from this local metaphysical shop, and it's a tiny mahogany obsidian stone that I love <3 The point I'm trying to make is that I'm opening up to all these things I never thought I would, so Im encouraging you to look into these things too! I presume that at New College there are way more people into those kinds of things there...... Anyway, the same question goes right back at you. Please share new interests!!

Music: I definitely recommend tape deck mountain, the song I.P is fantastic. And if you haven't already heard of them, the band Four Tet is very good too. I have only recently discovered Pretty Lights, even though apparently they're pretty popular, so if you haven't gotten into them yet I also say that's great. Unfortunately, I haven't read any books while I've been here. I've been finishing up one that I started over the summer called Tales of the South Pacific by James Michener, which I absolutely love, but I'm not quite sure if you'd feel the same. It's set in WWII on various islands in the southern pacific. It focuses on the navy and the random things they did there. Each chapter is a different little story, but they all connect; and many of them have tiny subliminal messages that really hit me, so I loved it. Idk, if that sounds appealing to you then go for it, for sure. On a different note, I have a floormate here who I've gotten close to and she is really into new age things

Hahah, I may take a bus there, I looked up some busses that run between miami and sarasota and there's actually a shuttle without stops that goes between the two. I probably won't end up transferring even if I do fall madly in love with the school, because the program here for my major is so great. But I'll definitely visit more often! Maybe I'll come up for a weekend or something soon.

That's awesome, I'm glad you fit right in there.. I can't really say the same for UM. It's typical college life with typical high school kids, except they're all much smarter on average. I guess you catch my drift. There's not enough nature or alone time here and everything is always so hectic and crazy. Eventually I'll find the people who are like me though and I'll feel more at home. I would like to come up and visit, my only problem is getting up there seeing as I have no means of transportation.

so I started reading "the power of now" and it's interesting. It's kind of conflicting with my current beliefs but I dig the general message behind it. I couldn't find the other books you recommended at the library up here in nowhere, Michigan. That magazine you read sounds so cool, i'm tempted to get myself a subscription. I'd LOVE to read that article you told me about.

Janae will be able to make it! SOoo we'll be leaving my house around 8:30-9ish tuesday. It's right on the intracoastal and 2 min walking from the ocean. I have a SUP and I'm bringing my surfboard, so I can teach you guys how to surf. It's a cool area and we'll find stuff to do. We'll come back wednesday nightish unless we wanna stay another night.

aw bro I hate to be lame and all but I won't be able to make it :( I'm going to Michigan the 2nd-13 and I'm coming back down from Atlanta the 17th for school. There's an amazing music festival in miami called Identity Fest that you should definitley check out if your down. Lets hang out sometime this week before I move on the 30th!

alright so one last little thing, we have too many people to fit in one car now, idk what to do about that. There's me you, my friend steph, frankie, spencer and dick, and then possibly urbz.

janae can't make it, she has work. My friend stephanie is coming forsure (you met her the other day), i also invited my friend erika, wayland, frankie, kelsey, urbano, ralf, and i'm planning on inviting spencer and richard also. You can invite people too!

We have to be off the water by 4:30, they close at 5. Let's plan to get there at 12 so we can make full use of the 4 hours. I just looked at the weather forecast and it's supposed to start raining at 4, which I think is perfect. We can meet at my house at like 10:45 and go from there

There's also stand up paddle rentals for anyone who wants to (possibly me). I'm going to call tomorrow to get info about specific times; hopefully we can do a sunset one so we'd start around 4 and end at 8!

can't find the nighttime tours anywhere, except in titusville and the florida keys, which are both too far, want to do daytime?
