Thanks for the set list. Pretty happy with the M83 show last night. With Phoenix, LCD, and Swedish House Mafia filling Madison Square Garden, no reason to think that Anthony G can't be huge in the near future. Glad I saw him close up before it's too late...

Hard to compare. Totally different types of shows. A Silver Mt. Zion was much more intimate because of both the nature of the band and the size of the venue. I guess I'd still have to say that GY!BE is still the best show I've attended because not only was the music awesome but also the screen projections. Really enjoyed the visual aesthetic piece of that.

Sigh. You've seen Shpongle like 5 times! This is the first year that I CAN go if I wanted to, but I don't really like doing drugs in public places, and I'd rather go to A Silver Mt. Zion than spent $50 on Shpongle. Have fun at all those other shows though.

For articulation purposes, I should've written, "a child is the epitome of a creative being" because otherwise, it sounds more like I'm saying a child is a product of creation. This then makes my "face is creative" conclusion awkward because it becomes tantamount to whatever was creating the child (which is a matter of perception - god, evolution, parents...) And you lost the game.

My face looks like that of a 12-year old, and since a 12-year old is considered a child and a child is the epitome of creation, my face is creative. /logic And I'm trying to figure out why we're having a last.fm conversation while we're texting?

I agree. It's kind of like that sine curve I told you about? (Did I tell you about the sine curve? lol) Since I've watched it for the first time in August, I've been able to see things differently and relate it to more things that I've seen and read. All knowledge leads to ignorance...

I've seen Waking Life at least 5 times now, and certain clips I've seen at least 15 (the ones that I memorized - the language one, the ant one, and the free will one). The ending is my favorite though - where everything comes full circle. I'll try to memorize it but the problem is no one wants to hear me recite these :P

Good :) I like their other albums better. I asked my mom again -_- there's no way I'll be allowed to go to NYC until 5 a.m. on New Year's Eve. I wanted to go to the Cosm New Year's Eve party to make up for it, but my mom doesn't want to drive there on NYE either :(.

Sounds absolutely beautiful. I'm downloading both the recommendations now. Perhaps the description of Harmony in Ultraviolet will truly click with me once I hear the album. I'll let you know. I really want to go to Shpongle. :(
