Oh and I'll listen again to Swan Lake... I remember some discussion on the board about that in the works a while back. I think I did listen and was intrigued but not permanently hooked. But I'll give it another shot. (My listening habits are getting a bit predictable of late so this is a good cure!)

Thanks for the recommendation, Adam! I do really like that track and will have to check into more Frog Eyes. If I didn't know better, I might mistake that for a Spencer Krug vocal. I have another one for you - Atlas Sound (Bradford Cox of Deerhunter's solo side-project) has a relatively new EP out called Parallax which I like a LOT and think might be right up your alley. So I was trying to think of something new to recommend you last night and realized I've been listening almost exclusively to alt-folky americana stuff I wasn't sure you'd get into... But I think I came up with 2 albums you don't have in your library that you might like. Twin-Hand Movement by Lower Dens is an excellent debut - dark and atmospheric. Definitely a band to watch. And AA Bondy's new album Believers also has a dark post-punk atmosphere about it. Less confident you will like that one but worth a shot. And ALSO... I saw Lia Pereira from ATW in your Library!! Does she make music she hasn't told me about?! If so I want it. (Or is that just her podcast?)

Ah... phew. I was worried maybe you didn't like The National anymore. Which would have meant that the obsession can be broken and I AM responsible for the amount of time I waste worshipping them! Yes... the new people since HV are very different. With a couple of exceptions I prefer the older regulars. You, for example, had great taste and intelligent comments. And that reminds me to check out Moonface again! Have to confess I haven't given them more than half a listen. Will remedy that soon!

where were you in club de la Koko? I had a butchers for you but got ever so slightly distracted, i thought they were incredible! I realised i had my mouth gaping open throughout most of it, they were mesmirising. There songs are arranged so beautifully constructed, small things like chris bears vocals on knife, the twinkly guitars on lullabye and everything about daniel rossen. Lovely! Did you enjoy?

After a week of subscribing I recommend you taking a month subscription - the radio station is pretty cool, Ive heard loads of cool new music. I'm a last.fm addict.

I'm not entirely sure what my subscription has got me so far, I've only subscribed for a month so far. Am liking 'my radio station' though. Its only about £1.50 a month, bargain.
