Well Anna...what can I say??? It was downpour all day long, it was mud up to one's knees (my overcoat, parka, fav trousers ->see pic, & of course, boots, were all covered with thick layer of mud) I came home at 02:00 am, wet & dirty as a pig, but I can tell you this -I don't give a shit...it was worth it. Simply awesome, only High on Fire & Volbeat who opened for 'tallica, were crappy, so I didn't pay too much attention. In all my 28 years of life, believe me or not, I've been only once (and that was in 1998), on Croatian Adriatic coast. The place was called Barbariga, very close to Pula, at the extreme south of Istra peninsula. 4 of us school friends gathered, and hang out there for couple of weeks...it was cool, though pretty weird. Every other summer, I spent in Slovenia (I'm not joking!!!) in little town called Izola, north Istra, just across Trieste in Italy. Father had an aunt there, so we were like- it's better to go to Slovenia for free, than stay in Croatia & pay. But when poor aunt died 2 years ago, we stopped goin' to sea altogether. I remember, when temp. of the sea dropped below 20°C, I felt like I was freezing, and I'm sure up there in Poland, the sea is rarely over 20°C. Now you talk/ask...anything you want.

The picture on wikipedia which says 'Avenue of Pope John Paul II in Stalowa Wola', could easily pass for a Zagreb...traffic signs, lamp posts, trees...even buildings. 'Dark Passion Play' is a solid effort, but I wouldn't call it the best...I very much like both 'Oceanborn' & 'Once', while 'Wishmaster' is my least favorite album by far. I also can't say which lady I like more...they're both nice, but I know my best song with Tarja is 'Nightquest', & with Anette 'Whoever Brings the Night' Oh yes, dig this, they were playing here in Zagreb on April 2nd, and I started loving 'em on April 3rd...weird shit, don't you think???
