WITTR are absolute joy to listen to when in the right mood. To me this applies especially with Primordial Arcana and Thrice Woven.

finally listened to the new EP. It's okay. atmosphere and composition is fine, it's just weird how it doesn't feel heavy at all.

Je découvre le groupe avec l'EP 'Crypt of Ancestral Knowledge', et c'est du Black-Metal Atomsphérique plutôt sympathique. Surpris que le groupe nous vienne des USA ! A la simple écoute, j'aurais parié sur un un groupe venu d'Europe du Nord, et plus spécialement de Finlande...

fantastic new release!! ♥There are 1.5 metal tracks here, the other 2.5 are not metal. Grim and frostbitten, atmosphere and beautiful melodies come in heaps; you have both ethno-ambient and spacey. Everything the way we like it. but... not enough!!! :')

The new EP sounds like it was composed by ChatGPT. WITTR is now hopelessly lost in mannerism and self-citation.

Though I have a huge soft spot for WITTR, I must say, they've been prating the almost same song writing formula since the Celestial Lineage. And its kinda boring. Same applies to the latest release.

The more you listen to Primordial Arcana, the better it sounds. Each song is a very good combination of atmosphere, some primal BM aggression (not much) and lots of nature landscapes (yes, a sound landscape, haha). Definitely one of my AOTY.

Love the new album!!

Two Hunters is one of the most beautiful black metal albums. At least, it's not good if you are into black metal while having no idea about the current moon phase and what the flowers grow.

New album is enjoyable, but not mind blowing. Good singles though for live sets.

it fucking drives me nuts that they took the "normal" version of primordial arcana off of spotify and now i have to ruin my charts with that stupid (Bonus Track Edition) if i want to use spotify. so am i really gonna download an album that's actually on spotify to stream if from local because of my last.fm autism? i'm afraid i will.

You must be a true simpleton to enjoy that formulaic drivel known as Primordial Arcana.
