still not better than the monitor (sorry, very few albums are), but definitely deserves to be equally revered and appreciated.

It took almost 10 years for me to realize. Some people have their neverminds, disintegrations, closers, black albums, white albums, whatever they'll ever hold dear for whatever reasons. It turns out I'll always have the +@'s first. It is pissed off and sincere, aware of hopelessness yet hopeful (even if on the verge of self-deception), depressing as fuck but at times triumphant, inherently personal and self-deprecating but widely relatable and reaffirming, and so true true true you'd wish to scream along and wonder why the world doesn't listen. It's great we had chance to. The only this that's been bothering me for some time now is why I didn't listen 10 years ago. Might've been easier along the way, yet still.

Why is The Monitor so revered when The Airing Of Grievances is the superior one???

Good album, raw and and gritty inde rock. Like most bands, all those songs written and finally released on an album. The second album, The Monitor is more fully realized and they play much tighter but keep the explosive energy, IMAO. Patrick Stickles voice is in fine form. Like all that inner tension, anger, fear, and frusration. Emotions we all have but usually never have an outlet

No future II isn't the best song on the album. It's a tie between No Future I and Albert Camus, in my opinion.

I love how people can't figure out that any song that has punctuation or numbers in it (for example, No Future Part Two: The Days After No Future) will have way less plays due to the different ways people have the song labelled in their music player (for instance, No Future Part II The Days After No Future)

No Future Part 2 has the least plays on the entire album... When it's the best song? WTF?

The second half of this album is even better than the first. The whole thing is just fantastic, though.
