The timeless theme of the theatre, which has crossed the Centuries following many different paths, reaches today a new frontier. It becomes the majestic setting of an innovative, obscure and epic Opera, cradled by the decadent sun of the Twilight. Sound Storm intend to recreate this polyhedric ambience in a unique, complex album: “Twilight Opera”.
It consists in a mixture of modern and classical music, executed with piercing guitars, pounding drums, devilish, aethereal and guttural voices, associated with a strings ensemble and a magnificent 8-pieces choir. The scores breathe emotions page after page.
“Twilight Opera” is not a concept album with a single theme, but each theme has got, in common with the other ones, the theatre as background. So on the stage the spectator will witness a stream of scenes such as the battle between Good and Evil (where Good is not always the absolute winner), the immortality of True Love and the different ways of living of the mankind.
Produced in Italy by Frank Andiver, mastered in Finland by Mika Jussila at Finnvox Studios, distributed in about 30 countries, “Twilight Opera” is the band's first worldwide step. The accuracy of every single detail derives from years of work, led by the purpose of achieving an imposing debut.
Joining this show, enjoying this one-act play, you will undertake a journey with no return, where every note will soak mind and body with a never-ending succession of comedy and tragedy. The curtains are off, let the Storm carry you away in a withering, pleasant world, let the Opera cross your threshold…
Twilight Opera was recorded and mixed at Risingworks Recordings, Lucca, between June and July 2008 by Frank Andiver (www.frankandiver.com). Mastered at Finnvox Studios, Helsinki, Finland, by Mika Jussila
