In 2015, Frusciante released via Bandcamp a set of electronic tracks, *non to be intended as an album of any sort*.
The peculiar sound and highly unconventional structures of these songs are due to the fact that there songs were not intended to be released, they were just an aesthethical exercise carried out by Frusciante - thus completely experimental.
