Decoder, Of machines, Oceana and Lower Definition (Probably could add a few more here) were all special. As far as I know there hasn't been a post-hardcore/metalcore band that is even close to how good they were, its a shame really.

all new post-hardcore sounds the same as 10 years ago. this was special, i wish there was more.

Post-hardcore Decoder, I'm kinda split on that album. Some songs are really atmospheric and cool, and some are just a snooze-fest I think. Some good songs definitely though

I'm kind of sad Lead Hands never took off. Not too big on post-hardcore anymore, but their self-titled is one of my favorite debuts of all time. Definitely a great album and a breath of fresh air into a genre that has more or less stagnated for several years now.

..and then they broke up.

Dreamwalker engenders this curious and pleasing emotional intensity within me. It's been playing within my mind so much lately. To me, it's one of the best songs ever composed in the Genre. One of the most retarded fucking things I've ever read. Stop doing this.

my ignorance is bliss, in this particular case :D but I looove "headlock" from the dnb-producer on dieselboy's soldier's story-mix. it's often mistaken for the tune "deception" by tech itch because of a wrong label on the 12 inch. his tunes are unquestionable the opposite of awful @lifeanthem ; )

It really sucks this band pretty much called it quits, old Oceana and old VersaEmerge are some of my favorite post-hardcore bands. I'd be so glad if this band came back and let the past be the past.
