I got some stuff off of a sharethread a few weeks back. I'm really enjoying 'Allo Darlin', Tulleycraft, and Math and Physics Club.

Yeah I know that feel. It doesn't help that I've stopped tracking my backlog so even if I wanted to work my way through it I have no organised way of doing so. Lately with the freeleech and all the tokens I've just been downloading every album I happen to think of that I haven't heard yet, so I'm kind of slowly making some progress. I do have a bunch of /mu/ essentials charts that have some albums I want to listen to, for the most part it's just the really influential albums that I feel I should listen to. Kind of awkward to like hip-hop but to never have heard Illmatic or something.

Nothing that fascinating, checked out Little Dragon and Fugazi, like them both, I'll check them out some more in the future. Haven't checked out anything special lately, just been trying to catch up on some stuff I've been meaning to catch up to, really. I have a whole list of stuff I should've listened to ages ago so I'm trying to work my way through that.

Yeah it really is hard to keep up. I'm still checking out albums that came out earlier this year, It's pretty insane. Also I think the new Big Boi album might have knocked m.a.a.d. city off its throne, it's so damn good. At first I preferred Sir Lucious Left foot but honestly Vicious Lies is just as good if not better. Awesome guest spots from Phantogram and Little Dragon in perticular. You heard it yet?

Still need to listen to that, been meaning to for a while. I'm kind of torn. It's been an awesome year for music but I'm having trouble picking an absolute favourite after listening to a couple albums too much. I'd say my favourite were Good kid m.A.A.d city, Sigur Ros' Valtari and There's No Leaving Now, by The Tallest Man On Earth. Missed a boatload of albums though, had a couple of periods where I didn't listen to too much music.

Yeah, I love /mu/ but there's way too little discussion there. I wish LTM was more active, but more activity means more subscribers and more subscribers generally means a drop in quality. Not always though, there just needs to be strict moderation. Aren't there only a couple of mods in LTM? It's gonna pass the 9000 subscriber mark relatively soon, and that's usually where subreddits start to decline. Hope it doesn't though, it's really the only outlet I have for actual music discussion.
