Ooooh shit, that looks good. We were planning on seeing Cattle Decapitation and Devourment in Baltimore but we've found so many shows we're having trouble deciding.

Exactly, How is "Peace Sells" so low?!?!?! It is almost as good as "Rust in Peace" if not better

Damn, I really wanted to see High on Fire, almost got to go once but it fell through. Yeah, Despised Icon is Deathcore. Me and my roommate actually originally liked them kind of ironically, because the video for "Day of Mourning" is so ridiculous (it looks like a nu-metal video if you turn the sound off) but eventually realized they write some pretty decent riffs. If you haven't heard them "Day of Mourning" is worth a listen through.

Also, me and my roommate are coming out to the Despised Icon show your way in a couple weeks.

You get the new Spiritual Front yet? So far I'm digging it, it's a lot more pop but it's still got the feel Armageddon Gigolo did.

Nice music choices. Atheist, Dying Fetus, Suffocation, Immolation, Necrophagist, Morbid Angel, Mr. Bungle, and Revocation. I have music from all these bands and its great.

Acacia Strain? They're alright by me. When people put them on in the car I can usually tap my foot and enjoy it but for some reason I can't get into them when I go to listen to it on my own.

Saw your shout, the one below me has it, they're very good live. They aren't incredible- it's a little sterile, a lot like listening to the recording, but far from terrible live.

Veil of Maya is wonderful musicians and ive seen them 3 times and they delivered each time. they are great live.

Common Man's Collapse is pretty good, the one before it is a little more raw but honestly they need a little more polish on their sound in my opinion.

Worth a listen but I don't like it personally. They turned up the whole 'tech' side of things a little more than I like and it loses something in my opinion.

To be honest I really don't know anything about iPod scrobbling, you may need to format and re-load it maybe? Don't quote me on that though, I use PortableScrobbler on my phone which is really simple, it actually scrobbles in real-time.

I love 3Oh!3 man. I didn't for a long time but.. well, it's fun, simple music. It's stupid but I'm fully aware of that and can still enjoy it. For the record "Don't Trust Me" is one of the weaker tracks on the album.

Personally, I wouldn't. I did several times before but in the long run it makes more sense to reset if you feel your tastes have changed too much.

i would check out the records "ozma" and "bullhead" if you liked some of the tracks on "houdini"..though it doesn't get any better than honey bucket. that's my absolute favorite melvins song.

Yeah, I'm familiar with Mr. Bungle. Not a fan though. If you like Mike Patton (their vocalist), check out Fantomas and his work with Dillinger Escape Plan. Peeping Tom is weird but it has its moments too. He has a LOT of projects.

Also a great song, I really can't get over "Grind Wit" though. Any time I'm like "Okay, time to listen to Benighted past the fourth track.." I just get caught up in that fucking song. XD

Oh Hell yeah dude. Check out "Grind Wit", a decent chug breakdown and there's this ridiculous surprise about three quarters through that they pull off so awesome

I have heard of them, I believe this is the group the Japanese guy that did vocals for Naked City had? I tried to look them up before but it had trouble finding stuff..

Happened to me before. Go into your Last.Fm program, go to the 'Options' menu and make sure your password is entered correctly and all that. It'll scrobble all the back stuff it was keeping but not scrobbling.

I see my shows in Dallas. There's a couple of very awesome, friendly venues around these parts.

Actually, I'm hard-pressed to think of a serious Ween fan I know who doesn't hold Chocolate and Cheese in high regard. For the record, I didn't care much for it when I first got ahold of it. I still think it has some weak moments ("Joppa Road" and "Candi" are pretty worthless filler tracks) but all in all it's a solid album.

The Pod is my indisputable favorite. Chocolate and Cheese is second and then Quebec and The Mollusk are close competition for third. Pure Guava and GodWeenSatan I love but have to be in a very specific mood for- Pure Guava is really weird without the sinister undertones of The Pod, and GodWeenSatan has that whole quirky punk thing going on. I have to be in a special mood for 12 Golden Country Greats. White Pepper I few as an inferior version of Chocolate and Cheese, and after Quebec I act like those albums don't exist. The live albums are okay, but I don't listen often, except All Request Live, where they did really cool new versions of some of my favorites.

Big fan of Morbid Angel back in the day. Each album has its moments, "Where the Slime Live" is a wonderful song, as is "Angel of Disease" As far as Indie bads, check out Neutral Milk Hotel, The Shins pre-"Oh, Inverted World", Grandaddy's "Sophtware Slump" and "Sumday" albums, Ween is a good band but they're all over the place, some albums tend to put some people off (though I'm a fan of it all, I have every album they did up to 2007, which wasn't good)... The Flaming Lips have their moments, "The Soft Bulletin" and "Ego-Tripping at the Gates of Hell" are good albums... !!! is alright sometimes... maybe more as I think of it.

yeah i checked out their last fm wiki. i've never really gotten into powerviolence, only like United Nations and After School Knife Fight... but i'll check out Despise You. No prob: http://www. torrentreactor .net/torrents/3403533/Girls-Album-2009-FNT just remove the spaces when you paste it. it's really light indie pop, really easy to get in to
