I quite like his album The Hopeful and The Unafraid. I'm checking out some more of his music now. From that album I get an early Bruce Springsteen vibe channeled through The Hold Steady. Except I like his voice more than Craig Finn's (though I like THS).

Have you ever listened to Jason Anderson? Judging by some of the artists you like, and his connection to them, I imagine you have. But thought I would mention him.

i'm slowly updating the old radio playlists i've done. i can only do it for the shows i logged my music. i'll try and go as far back as i can after i catch up to where i'm at now.

it was really good. more noisy than what i was expecting. i played the first track on my radio show. also played cheesy music with power ranger sound bites over it. it was a good time.

i don't like the songs she tries to put structure to, they come off prog-y. i like her older stuff, it's organic and is melodically pleasing to me.
