Hey. 70's is hip again now. All the fashion emporiums are full of 70's copies. Ye'll be dressin' like a Starskys & Hutch extra within the year. I predict it. 2011 is SO last year darling. Ye'd better snap up some o' them tank tops & a wide labelled leather jacket while yer at it :~). What I want to know is how does he grow 'em that long without breaking 'em. I've given up tryin' to grow mine & I'm presumin' he's a southpaw in daily life cos I don't know that I'd get much done with a hand like that. It's like Edward Guitarhands, or should that be Plectrumhands? 'Cept his name's not Edward.(Whoops! Just got in & I'm dehydrated & needin' tea & sustenance & then I'll be semi back to normal & not a rambling fool,or at least less rambling) x

Hello. You passed by my page yesterday. A fellow Merz fan I see. Like yer description at the top of yer page. Ditto. I spend my days(& nights) when I'm at home wanderin' around with cordless headphones so as not to disturb the others with my obscure musical likings. They don't know what they're missin'. Here. Ye might like. He plays with Lambchop sometimes. We went to see him recently. Check them fingernails. Kinda freaky. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rvchLn__BDg Enjoy. x AM

Hello! No problem, though I am still looking for the damn set list. Someone must surely have written it down or gotten it! Grrr. He only played like 2 of those same songs at Rough Trade on the Friday. // Yeah, I've been listening to the Go-Betweens almost non-stop since last Tuesday! *sigh*

Ha Ha I know that feeling, remember the Aphex Twin ? they played the Old Trout to about 300 of us and the vibrations were so intense they had us all running to the loo, there was only one toilet..... ;-( ... glad you saw Mumford and Sons and agree on Laura Marling she isn't quite right for a big stage, did you catch Yeasayer or Grizzly Bear?

Hi thankyou too.....Not long till Latitude, I'm jealous.....Hop Farm, well I thought Dylan was brilliant but I was off my head by then, however Mumford and Sons were the huge standout, I was right at the front and there was much jumping up and down, wonderful performance, excellent sound, see them at your earliest convenience. Laura Marling was really impressive too, Pete Doherty was a surprise, almost sober looking, lots of Libertines stuff, less Babyshambles which pleased me. Seasick Steve was hilarious, and my last call of the night was Devendra Banhart, who I love, but he proved too weird for my friends and they made me head home. ;0)

I didn't! I tried to listen to "Today" this morning, but the radio in my Glasgow hotel room didn't offer any English channels. Off to comb the BBC website - thanks for the tip!
