I have had the unfortunate predicament of being put in compromising situations prior to their 06 gig, and then again at their BDO performance two years ago. Fingers crossed I will not experience any delays in seeing them perform this time, third time lucky, right? I am also wondering if this tour means the release of their latest album around that time? They are awfully secretive about it!

Hey, sorry bothering you, but i'm a multi-instrumentist musician (one man band) and I've been doing a few covers (including an acoustic version of Deafening Silence by Machine Head) could you please give it a try and tell me what you think? Because I really wanna improve. thanks a LOT! ^^ www.youtube.com/possesswithin

I saw your post on the Soulfly page. What do you mean by the average Soulfly fan? Like one who is expecting to hear metal mixed with world music? Or the later Soulfly fan of Conquer onward?

Plus, if Maddah wasn't open to booking "90s bands" I may never have seen Faith No More live so I don't see it as a problem.

No, you misunderstood. My point was that you obviously are a fan of at least 3 of the bands on the SW line-up yet you were making fun of AJ for booking those other bands which you seem to consider "old" bands even though Machine Head are also very much a 90s band. I don't like Fred Durst either but that isn't the promoters fault. Anyway, this has got out of hand. I know you were more or less joking around.

"Coal Chamber, SOAD, Limp Bizkit.... someone tell AJ Maddah that it isn't 1999 anymore" ...and Machine Head, Gojira, Mastodon...I wouldn't be making wise cracks if I were you.
