All those listens were from before "Latch" got huge. Trust me, I'm sick of it by now. :)

Now... on to details... what school? Major? Can't wait to hear about your first week/month. And... I've been listening a bit to your library... fantastic as usual. Tell me about your music loves as of late... you know we have to vibe out on all that as well. So great to hear from you, as always. :) I am doing.... some better... my progress is not quite as "progressive" as the word implies, but... its at least becoming visible and coming into view/focus more. I will take it. Trust me. ;) I will keep you posted. Write back soon. Sending you my email/text info soon. :)

Hey you!! Lol, wonder if its the last time, huh? Wow, we gotta do something about that... I'll send you a message with my details so that we can text and/or email when I am MIA from Last. Much better long term approach. ;) Ok... so graduated?!! YES!!! Congrats, my friend. Huge accomplishment. Now school starts **this*** week? Wow, your pep talk and my re-appearance are right on time. Butterflies dance and soar, so... let them stay. You will be AWESOME, you'll see. College is sooo much better than high school in a multitude of ways, (although your from Hawaii, so I don't know how much better anything can be to that [smile]) and your primary job is to find them ALL tailored just to you. You got yourself here, you'll get yourself through, just enjoy the journey to the grown up Shua. Should be amazing.

I'm back Shua to give you my recent loves: gospel wise: Yolanda Adams, Fred Hammond, and Israel and New Breed have been giving me LIFE lately. Seriously, I have literally been transformed when I hear certain songs by all three. For whatever reason, old school has been spinning tons with me lately: Diggable Planets, Pharell, Bonnie Raitt, Sade, Babyface, Zhane (adore them - 1st album especially), Damian & Nas have been in heavy rotation too (I know you love them especially), Brandy's new and old stuff has been really great too. LOTS of opera and classical while I study too (makes me smarter and I can concentrate more) is a staple when I study: if you like that, I'll give you artists next convo. That's just a general overview: gotta hear where you are with getting ready for school: I'm excited for you!! :)

Hi Shua! Wow, college app season: that's very exciting!!! Where are you considering? What major? Are you ready??? Yes, I plan on being around more since I'm in college myself: political science major. I'm pre-law so... we'll see if I decide to go to law school... I listen to music here while I write papers. Lots of 'em. In terms of the music... Colbie is awesome...very soulful voice, not sure if she's your speed but she's cool to listen to. I will have to come back with my faves of the moment, but for now Anthony David is fantastic: I'm falling in love with his voice all over again at the moment. I will be back with part two of our convo soon. Its late here in Atlanta, going to bed. ;)

Hi Shua!!!!!! I have been M.I.A. from Last lately, I know I know... I kinda fell off for the past couple months. Holidays, stuff going on in my world, etc. It's been very hectic for me. I wanted to stop by and say hello, and that I hope 2013 freakin' rocks for you thus far. :) Not so much for me, but I am definitely hopeful. Hopefully I will be around a little more than I have been, but you were never forgotten none the less. :) So, what's the latest that you recommend?

Hi, Hi Shua!! I know its been FOREVER!! I've been off last the past few weeks, which is way too long, since I normally listen 5-6 days a week. I've truly missed my music here, but my Amazon Library has kept me going in the mean while :) So glad you enjoyed both Erin Barra and Gretchen - I too am IN LOVE with Gretchen. Her voice is sooo intoxicating. No new listens lately, I've been listening to stuff I already own, like Lil Wayne, Big's LIfe after Death, Nora Jones, Phil Collins, The Fray, Green Day, Gwen Stefani, Johnny Cash, and a TON of various gospel artists to keep me inspired and hopeful. Hope you are well, can't wait to hear who has your ears singing lately.... :)

Hello Shua, happy Saturday!! Sorry it's been a rough year... can definitely second that statement (unfortunately), hopefully things will turn around for us both soon. ;) You asked who I was listening to lately that was new... well, quite a few people actually, but I will give a few (may/may not be your style - no offense taken): -Maverick Sabre -Gretchen Parlato -Samantha James -Erin Barra -Susan Justice -A Fifth -The Cantos ii -Tamia's new album is good -a few oldies turned new in my recent spins: Childish Gambino, Kameron Corvet, Patsy Cline, Bon Jovi, De La Soul, Damian Marley, Goodie Mob... Whew, hopefully, that few can get your juices flowing... Now it's your turn.... turn me on to your recent loves. Talk to you soon. :)

Hi Shua! To answer your ?, I cannot genuinely speak on all Tank's albums, as I only have the first one, but I do enjoy listening to it. I think it shows more depth to him as an artist/writer. If you can, take a listen. Not all the songs are great, but there seemed to be promise there.... If you listen, give me an update on your thoughts.... ;)

Yes, I do like "Next Breath" by Tank - I just hear it on the radio, so I thought I'd listen to the album... It's okay... in my humble opinion, he's had better work.... sounds so much like too many other artists of today...sometimes cannot distinguish his personal songs from his writing for other people...your thoughts???

Lmao! Yeah, I listened to your library because I saw Childish Gambino pretty high on your chart. You're not wrong to assume about the West Indies thing but from what I know I'm not West Indian, I'm American. I love one song by Born Jamericans and I used to play it a lot that's why but I do love reggae/dancehall music.
