Willing to move away from the hustle and bustle of Paris, Serments decided to retreat for two weeks in April 2009 in a studio near Aix en Provence (Southern France).
The band’s first album, entitled UTOPIA, which includes 13 titles and was recorded by Christian Carvin, has revealed the whole band’s energy and rage.
With a sometimes heavy metal music but also imbued with alternative rock melodies, Serments’atmosphere has definitely been original and rich in various influences which have revealed the band’s particular background music.
Vanessa’s voice variations supported by strong guitars and impressive drums are highlighted by a powerful performance whereby composition richness becomes obvious.
The title called “Just Want To Exist” has been chosen as a first video clip to reflect the unique world of the band and therefore of their album.
