"This Side" is Nickel Creek's fourth and most critically acclaimed album. After being released on August 13, 2002 the album won the folk band their first Grammy. Some highlights of the album include the Pavement cover, "Spit on A Stranger", and its three singles, "Smoothie Song", "Speak", and "This Side".
