Sounds very very safe for a Brian WIlson track. So I'm a little surprised it's so highly regarded by people here. I mean, it's nice. But quite forgettable.

First time I heard this (the BW solo album version) I was standing in Record Corner in Balham - I'd preordered the single and got a call - it had arrived. The fella in the shop stuck it on the turntable for me - it sent shivers up my spine. Who else would start a song - I was sitting in a crummy movie! Un-nearvingly real and touching.
