Wow, I'm sorry I had no idea. That must have been a very powerful album. For me, I hated the first two singles when they came out. Well, at least I thought I hated them; I think I was more just surprised with the direction they took. After listening to the full album, the songs didn't really stand out anymore and just made the album feel complete as a whole. I saw them in a garage about five years ago with about 30 other people, and it's crazy to see how much they've grown musically. It really is a beautiful album though.

That's probably right, and they just grew as a band and have gotten stronger from a songwriting standpoint.

Honestly not too fond of the new MovMou. Pneuma is still my favorite release of their's by far. I felt like Waves was good and had glimpses of a really amazing album that took stylistically from Pneuma but making it more accessible, it just needed more fine tuning. This time I around though, they really abandon what made me fall in love with Pneuma and Foreword. The post-rock influences are slipping away in favor of a more straight foreword approach, which I wouldn't have a problem with, but for the most part I just think the new album lacks a lot of punch for lack of a better term. Still haven't given the new B&C a listen. Your description has me interested though. That being said, I didn't get super into Separation either. I'll probably give it a listen before bed.

Honestly the new Locrian album... I dunno. I listen to it and can identify that it's a damn good album, but it hasn't really grown on me at all. I just feel like it drags on for a little too long for the sake of dragging on it parts. Definitely still worth checking out though, dude! Glad to hear you liked the bands too. As for more recommendations, it was a little harder this time around. You listened to pretty much everything I thought of. I'm still gonna say check out This Routine is Hell's new album, Roomrunner's new album (I haven't gotten super into yet, but it seems up your ally) aaaaand you already have them in your charts but only 13 plays so I'm gonna throw Q and Not U out there. Anything you want to throw my way? I haven't been able to find much worthwhile lately.

Yeah, Attack on Memory blows the rest clear out of the water. There's definitely some good singles on the other two though. Also, that new Portugal. The Man album... holy bejeezus, I'm addicted to it.

Yeah dude, when I first downloaded Attack on Memory, I didn't expect what I got at all. I was addicted to that album. I got The Satanic Satanist too. I'm actually surprised how easy it was to get into, I'm really liking it.

I've been listening to a lot of Iceage's new album lately. I also didn't see any Modest Mouse, Metz or Cloud Nothings in your charts, I've been pretty addicted to them lately. Also, say I was looking to get into Portugal. The Man, what album should I start with?

I haven't left anyone a post about how good their taste is in years, but I'm making an exception. Holy bejeezus, there's a great mix of stuff here.

So I did listen to Mount Hope. I don't know how I feel about it. Some part were good, even really good, but most of it got me bored. It was real calm, almost too calm for me. Maybe I wasn't in the best mood for it, I might retry getting into them sometimes but I can't say I've been even slightly impressed by what I heard so far.

Yeah the chariot rules // Well first of all, i used to cheat with my plays, i used to keep my itunes on all day.... so obviously i got bored of my charts pretty quickly, and then, i don't know why, but i like to reset my plays once a year, i guess i want to restart fresh... and i gotta admit that my taste changed drastically since i joined lastfm. I mean my top artists used to be A day to remember, something corporate and funeral for a friend...

I think you have misread something. Obviously WYAAWYWTB is a great album, one of my favourites. I think their follow-up Sirens is disappointing, when they tried a more post-hardcore approach.

If you could put the universe into a tube, you would end up with a very long tube. Probably extending twice the size of the universe... because when you collapse the universe, it expands, and it would be, uhhh... you wouldn't want to put it into a tube.

To be honest I do not know if I've heard so much music, but always try to keep my ears busy listening to something. The large amount of music that I have come from various parts: cd´s of mine and my brother, iPods from my friends, and another big part of exploring music blogs and forums. I recommend to you bands that I discovered in the forums and they given to me great times: Los Super Elegantes, Sexy Sushi, Stereo Total, Yoko Kano & The Seatbelts, Girl In a Coma, P.G. Lost, Bye Bye Bicicle, Great Northern, Cousteau, JJ72, Anne Sophie Mutter, The Seven Mile Journey, just to name a few bands. By the way, who is the character in your avatar? Is very cool :O
