I just discovered Blu-Swing and think they're right up your alley -- they give me a definite Clazziquai meets City Pop vibe. "Sunset" and "Like We're Lovers" are two songs I particularly like by them. Apologies if you've been listening to them for years already! It would be such a nice feature if Last.fm let me search to see if my friends have listened to a specific artist/song before :)

Most of my Namie are MP3s ;) I've also been scrobbling from YouTube and Bandcamp lately, and Spotify to a lesser extent. I have a bunch of MP3s on my phone that I listen to while driving -- Namie, Sowelu, Minmi, and The Midnight. ("One of these things is not like the other..." XD)

Oh that's funny, I was specifically missing Namie, Sowelu, and Minmi (maybe not The Midnight xD) a lot earlier this year, so I dug out my old portable harddrive with my .mp3s on it and made a synced playlist on Spotify. I forgot that you could scrobble from Youtube though! But on second thought, I don't think I want anyone to know the stupid rabbitholes I sometimes go down on there xD

Brenda K. Starr was very good the first time around. It was a concert with several other artists on the bill so she did not get to do much of her recent hits. She performed her Freestyle hits and one of her Salsa hits "Herida". The second I saw Brenda perform live was on Valentine's Day night 2014, there were only two additional artists on the bill Tito Puente Jr. (whose band played live during Brenda's set of songs) and Coro. This time, Brenda performed the majority of her Spanish language hits in Salsa music from her albums released between 1996-2006. She attempted to do some of her Freestyle hits, but the crowd demanded more Salsa music, so she obliged the request. She performed her album track song "Que Fue Que Fue" from her album "Atrevete a Olvidarme" (In English it means "Dare To Forget Me"). Then she performed her massive hit song "Por Ese Hombre" from her album "Temptation". She was in a long glittering red evening down looking fabulous! She sounded great!

Yep. I added you back on Grooveshark. You've got some good playlists! (of course). When I saw your last.fm profile, I thought "this guy's library radio's probably impressive!"- I wasn't wrong. I'm sure I'll find some new gems on your radio station. Thanks for the add :)

Can't believe I've never seen you in my last.fm neighborhood 'til now. I can't pass a single page of your listening history without seeing something I listen to (and like).

Yes, I enjoy all four artists very much! Although I have not seen Kylie or Paulina yet I have seen Sade live and seen Basia live twice.

Omigosh, right? I almost had a spontaneous orgasm when they clipped that song on a Discovery channel commercial, hah!
