I was trying to remember all our old shots again the other day. Obviously they were one :) I like how Chill and dreamy they are. Glad they popped back up with new material. They were excellent live.

Speaking of prolific, I thought Ty S was king of whipping up tunes but this trumps him even. Totally agree. I can enjoy an instrumental but even 20 of his best from this bunch coupled with the songs with lyrics/vocals, would have been way more enjoyable. A couple are at least transporting me to a tropical beach. I’ll take that! Even if I prefer mountains.

Yup, if we had never heard their first album the EP would be better. :) Don’t be shy about sending over good stuff (even instrumentals, haha) been a long time since we sent recommendations! Is your tune gone from Spotify or have I totally lost my mind?

I wrote a wrong name there - how embarrassing! Ambersmoke - The Big Sleep —> Loving it. How do you like the Ambersmoke? Great, right? I didn’t found so much records, unfortunately. Did you listen to something else and how was it? I hope you find some pearls for yourself, as I did. Sorry for confusing your nickname. See you and stay safe, mteric!

Hey there, no worries! I thought "scratch monkey" might be some new slang the kids are using these days or something. haha! Ambersmoke was definitely solid shoegaze. I could only find two albums by them: "Etheric Fauna and Pristine Antiquity", which wasn't very good in my opinion and "Lay My Bones", which was awesome! I appreciated the song "Nineteen Forty-Seven", with its My Bloody Valentine-inspired sound. "The Big Sleep" was pretty epic. I haven't made it through all the other bands you mentioned yet, but definitely enjoyed La Hell Gang's bluesy guitars. I really liked Kestrels' "Dream or Don't Dream" album. Pyschic Lemon was good too. I'll let you know once I check out the others. Thanks for the jazz recommendation too. I seem to listen to a lot of jazz these days, so I'm curious about that band. Take care!

Hi Scratch_Monkey! Last week I found three three bands I want to share: Cambrian Exploxion is great! But the other two bands are psychedelic top notch. Mythic Sunship is really epic and impressive. And Psychic Lemon is also very fantastic and stunning. Very two special groups! Between Thursday and Friday I changed bands and I put new bands on my waiting list. I guess you know some of the bands: You recommend Psicomagia already. The other bands are: Windows By The Ocean, Tides From Nebula, Carlton Melton, Bardo Pond, Magic Lantern, Yuri Gagarin (SWE). A lot of psychedelic and Shoegaze bands -it’ll be great week! 🙂

I found some outstanding bands in the last two weeks... I think I can’t write to much, because they are so many bands. The best groups are two neo-psychedelic groups: The Valkarys and Sundays & Cybele - This is a fantastic Japanese psychedelic rock band and they are so good! Just be so kind and check my weekly charts from the 6th to 13th and 13th to 20th, as well as from the last 30 days. ;-) Listen to this awesome German bands: Kosmodrom and psychedelic Suns of Thyme. The psychedelic/shoegaze band Frankie Teardrop Dead is awesome as well and the Swedish psychedelic/noise group Goat is great also. Kaleidobolt has an awesome name, they are an psychedelics/stoner rock band and are great and Temples is psychedelic/indie rock and pretty good. Hawkwind is classic and psychedelic/stoner and cool and check it out - Spacin' is a lo/fi psychedelic garage rock band and they got nice riff. Annot Rhül ... are okay, but nothing special. Check it out. I deleted two of three albums, though.

Ruby The Hatchet is a stoner /psychedelic rock band and they make good music. It’s worth to check it out. The Ruby Suns are an indie pop with psychedelic elements, but I didn’t liked it so much. Zoon is Shoegaze band and it is quiet good and worth trying, as well as the bands which will be coming. Het Droste Effect, a psychedelic/stoner/space rock band and a bombastic sound. The Swedish band Old Man's Will, a stoner/blues rock group which is not bad actually, a nice Sound. Definitely worth trying. And Spiral Shade, á Stoner rock band. They had a hard sound. I will delete them. There are many awesome bands in it and I hope you will have fun listening to them. 🙂

All natural Lemon & Lime Flavor (or All Natural Lemon And Lime Flavor) and The Sundays are two of the bands I have listened to extensively and I am amazed. So great music, I find them fantastic. The first one is Shoegaze, Alternative, some songs are Ethereal Rock. I enjoyed the three records a lot. Remarkably good! Don’t miss this. The Sundays are a Dream Pop, Indie/Alternative Rock band from the 90s with a female vocalist. Ethereal Rock - I don’t know if it fits, what do you think about it? She has an angel-like voice and I find their music very relaxing, nice and great.

Cool, I’m very happy that you liked my recommendations. 😉 Dude. I found a bunch of absolutely amazing bands, you gonna love them. I don’t know if you know them, but I just name them: Mondo Drag - what a fantastic band. They make psychedelic, sroner rock, wich is sometimes bluesy. Very cool, they rock. / Opal - psychedelic, indie, stoner rock and some are dream pop. Apple Music has only two records of Of them, very unfortunately. They are amazing! / The Confederate Dead is a psychedelic, space and post-rock (and desert rock, which is the same as Stoner) group with a great sound. I like them a lot and found their sound awesome. / Rose City Band is nice, they make psychedelic, bluesy, country rock. I don’t know, it sounds good. Try it. / Pontiak plays psychedelic bluesy stoner rock and is very awesome. / The Aqua Velvets are a good and awesome surf rock band. / The Smoking Trees, Mmoss, Flowers Must Die and The Sun Sawed In 1/2 are psychedelic rock and you’d try it out. They‘re good.

But Flowers has epic long tracks, over 16, 12 or ten minutes long. I don’t like so much of the songs are overstretched. I got The Sufis - psychedelic rock/pop and Indie rock and Last of the Easy Rider. The first one is nice, but I have to listen to the Easy Riders further. I’m sure you will be fascinated by Mondo Drag, Confederate Dead and Opal and Pontiak. ☺️

Hey, I have some new recommendations for you, my friend. Joy and Sacri Monti (and probably Fogg) are psychedelic Stoner rock bands. I didn’t listen often to Fogg, Sacri Monti was nice though, but Joy was really great. They played great music, fuzzy and full of wah wah. I loved it. 😄 Pauw was kinda psychedelic, alternative rock and I liked it. Swedish Death Candy are lo-fi post-punk neo-psychedelic rock group and they varied their songs from punk to psychedelic. All in all quiet cool and also a recommendation. Pauw, Swedish Death Candys, Joy and Sacri Monti. Moths & Locusts was the best band I was listening to in the last days. An awesome psychedelic rock band which I can highly recommend to you. 🙂 They are so fantastic. I was very disappointed from Dungen and Pell Mell, I don’t want to waste any time further by explaining why. I really thought I would like like appreciate Dungen, it’s a Swedish Experimental psychedelic rock band. Maybe you would like their sound. Best regards!

Hey, thanks! I added these to my library to listen to soon. From some of your previous recommendations, I really liked the new Hum album. It's good to hear more music from them. The Confederate Dead and Opal were really good too. Some others are still in my library. I think you listen to way more music than I do. It looks like a lot of the bands I was going to mention you have already heard. But one you might like: Zoon. They are kind of shoegazey. At the moment, I'm listening to Bad Liquor Pond. They have a great psychedelic/rock sound. Take care!

I found a second new awesome band next to „The Ganja“. The group name is „Babd Of Susans“ and they are making really good music. They have a drummer, a bass player and three guitar players! :-D They generate an intense, noisy wall out of sound, a little bit like „Cult Of Dom Keller“ does. I don’t know, I find it very difficult to compare both groups. „Cult Of Dom Keller“ sounds a little bit more psychedelic and „Band Of Susans“ has a tiny noise rock touch. I recommend you check this band out. Please tell me what you are thinking about it. And if you find any new artists or band, I’m always interested my friend. ;-) Lately I’m listening to do many new bands and records...The next bands I’m going to check out are: Six Organs For Admittance, Duster, Seam, Galaxie 500 (Bedhead was very nice; Slowcore - Duster, G500 & Seam are Slowcore too), Dommengang, Labraford, Windy & Carl... ... I’m looking for Neo-Psychedelic Rock but can’t find any...Do you know any? Have fun with Band Of Susans!

Hi mteric! Our musical compatibility is really „super“ - the circle is nearly totally closed. :-) I checked your first 200 artists in the last 180 days. And you are shortly really into „Cult Of Dom Keller“? It’s an awesome band, I really dig „Ascend!“ and „The Second Bardo!“ They have such an unique sound and style, it’s hard to find a similar band. But I got an idea: I don’t know if you are going to like it. But I hope so. The Janitors - „Horn Ur Marken“ & „Drone Head“, Buried Feather - „Buried Feather“, „Mind Of The Swarm“ & „Cloudberry Dreamshake“. You already heard of „Pretty Lightning“, ya? The Warlocks - „The Mirror Explodes“ & „Heavy Deavy Skull Lover“, evtl. „The Chain“! Voyager One - „From the New Nations Of Long Shadows“ & „Monster Zero“. I found „The Ganjas“ some days ago - it’s an amazing band with an outstanding sound. You’d listen to these superb records from The Ganjas. „Resistance“, „After Dark“, „Loose“, „Daybreak“, „This Is The Time (2002-2007)“!

For sure, they are all really good albums. I’m not sure how he does it, but I love listening to Jim Hall even when he’s just comping! I hope I can learn to play like that someday. And yep, shoegaze is my other musical guilty pleasure. Loud, reverb-drenched guitar sounds are quite nice. Thanks for leaving the shout!

Hey my metric friend, I’m currently totally digging Shoegaze and and I’m listening to it nearly all the time. I found some great bands from the early 90s like Alisons Halo, Difference Engine, The Sea Urchins and newer bands like Rev Rev Rev, The Orange Drop, Static Daydream, Presents For Sally, Crash City Saints, Skywave, Orange Yellow Red, The Sunshine Company, Sounds like Sunset, Sway, The Creases, IS BLISS, Floorian, Flying Saucer Attack, The Creases, The Volta Sound, Holy FAWN, Air Formation, Airiel, Vyva Melinkya, 93MILLIONMILESFROMTHESUN, Should, You Walk Through Walls, Experimental Aircraft, The Stargazer Lilies, ...You may know some bands, but I guess some are totally new to you. A have much more bands waiting to for me to get finally listened. Check my charts, there are some more bands. Do you have sone recommendations for me? Answer at my page please. Thank you for your recommendation! Your own library gave me a great first impression. Do you really enjoy Blankenberge and 93MillionMilesFromTheSun? The second Blankenberge record „More“ is available since this year. They are currently my favourites bands to listen. Did you find some similar great bands? I’m going to keep following you. I found the friendship option in past better than the following. I guess that is one of the reasons why writing to others became so rare...

I agree, „Radiogaze“ was an amazing positive surprise, it really blew my mind. „More“ is not bad at all, it’s good - but it didn’t reach the same level of amazement. 93MILLIONMILESFROMTHESUN is really an outstanding and incredible great band. Their music is remarkable and they released quite a number of records in the last years. I hope we will enjoy some amazing records of them in the future. I have another recommendation for you. I don’t know if you like Bethany Curve - they released a bunch of records some time ago. The first and second record are the best ones, in my opinion. 2019, after quite some time of inactivity and no new releases, they brought out a new record. „Murder!“ is available since a month or two - and it is without any doubt the best record they have made, ever! Just give it shot. You’d be surprised. Greetings!

Hey Eric, thanks for the welcome! It says for me that our compatibility is HIGH? I think there is something dodgy going on, as for e.g., when I look at @Nitologic it says VERY LOW, but for him it says we are HIGH. LOL! Too funny. Happy Friday BTW :)
