My girlfriend went to Rock In Rio but I didn't, it was too expensive and far from where I live. Here in my town we don't have the public for those kind of shows, so I have to travel to São Paulo to watch a concert. I have seen a lot of bands like Metallica, Megadeth, Iron Maiden, Testament, and also on feb 24th I will watch Soulfly (the guy from Sepultura, u know ?), and i'm looking forward to it :). Back in September 2011 I was in New York and I almost watched the Big 4 on Yankee Staduim, but it was sold out :/

Yeah, currently I am using Amazon, but the shipping here it's like 10~16 dolars per CD kkk It sucks, but I don't have any choice. And I've seen you went to a lot of shows, damn you're so lucky, I mean, see Judas Priest, AC/DC and Rush live is my dream. I missed their shows in Brazil :/

There's thousands of CDs here 'cause my whole family buys CDs, and me and my dad are the only who buy Metal, lol. I started buying them in 2007. But the cost of the CDs here are extremelly high, here it's like 20 dolars (or 40 reais) a simple CD that I can find in NY for 5 dolars.

Considering that was 19 days ago, I have to say damn, you'll have as many plays as I do in no time! But alas, it's not about plays on here. Thanks for the taste compliment, I gotta say right back at ya. There are some artists that you listen to who I've never gave a try, such as Angel Witch, Rigor Mortis, Sentinel Beast and Sanctuary. Any recommendations?

There is a series out now called Metal Evolution : The Series it has 11 episodes and it starts from the beginning when metal first started and each episode touches on a different style of metal...it is with Sam Dunn and he does a great job interviewing the bands. I think you would enjoy it so you should check it out...

Not a fan of power metal. I was very metal from the late 70's to mid 80's. After that I grew bored with most metal. Being from Seattle, and in my early 20's when grunge hit, that was my scene.

When I first heard them back in the 80's, I had a very negative reaction to the type of metal they were playing. Frankly I was surprised to see they had lasted. I had assumed they had been tossed to the scrapheap of history by the grunge/alternative wave of the 90's. I have no idea what they sound like today, but if they still sound like they did back in the day, then there is no way I would like them.
