Your weblog is quite neat. Interesting that you see Tugboat as a love song. I think it's just emo as fuck.

Hey, I know that you and I haven't talked in a while, but I got a weird message from you on my page today. It was a link. What's that about?

haha so i was perusing through the mineral shout outs because i think it's pretty cool that they are well known enough for people outside of texas, and i stumbled upon your comment about emo boys... i couldnt help but wondering, do you just miss being in elementary/middleschool???

I noticed that you listened to Indian summer a little bit ago. Mark Bianchi (Her Space Holiday) was in that group. You should check Her Space holiday out. It's nothing like Indian Summer, but he's one of my favorite artists.

That's okay, I was away myself for a while partying :) And now I need to listen to DJ shadow to chill out! Hope you had a nice time in seattle :)

I'm not sure. I like both. Cro-Mags are great but then I also love bands like No Trend and Void etc :) Hardcore was just awesome. Random, but have you ever heard the confusion is sex album by sonic youth??

Wow, thats pretty sad. Still, i'd love to work at a book shop you know? Hey you listened to Hoover. What're they like? My girlfriend keeps telling me to listen to them.

Shit really? DM's is one of my faveourite bands. Didn't the bassis kill himself or something? sad stuff. But yeah that's cool that he made you a latte. Being from England means I never meet anyone interesting :( England is a horrible place.

Acctually I don't... nothing against them they just never grabbed me, Mr Bungle are utterly brilliant though! And mike patton seems like an okay dude. i see you have Violent Femmes in your chart, haven't listened to them in ages! They're great

Yeah I love miles davis, one of my fave jazz artists. Some of his songs clock in at 30 minutes and there's honestly not a dull moment amongst them. And concerning hardcore, Get in the Van by Henry Rollins is a must read if you haven't already :) I admire Jello. I keep meaning to check out some of his spoken word...

I know, hardcore these days is like this lame tough guy bullshit and i've never understood it? 80-86 was the prime years for hardcore really :) good to see you listening to the dead kennedys too! You have tonnes of artists i've never heard of, i should check a few of them out :)

Yeah he's a great guy - You seen the video on youtube of him talking about his friend that was shot? it's heartbreaking! Also, My War is really underrated

All the era's are great. Don't get why people bag on Henry though? He was a great in BF! in fact for ages the first for years was my fave BF record but recently it's been Damaged. Some reason I never really got damaged before... hows about you? Henrys books aren't bad either!

I think the problem with Fuck Buttons is that their music really isn't made to be played live. It just doesn't seem like very good concert music to me. I love them anyway. They are very inspirational to me when I get in my experimental moods with my music. Anyway, I've got an afternoon of organizing CDs, listening to new music, and making a new mix ahead of me. Have a good lazy Sunday.

I love Caribou! He's on tour with Fuck Buttons right now, right? I went record hunting the other day and managed to find some really good new stuff. Grand Rapids has the best record store called Vertigo. They have anything that you want. That's where I discovered a lot of music. It's very well organized when it comes to genres. Anyway, have fun at the concert. You should let me know how it was

I managed to avoid the flu the past couple years...luckily. Jets To Brazil was founded by Blake from Jawbreaker. I have tried so hard in the past to get into Jawbox, but I could never seem to do it and I'm not sure why.

I love Sunny Day Real Estate! Diary is one of the best CDs ever made. And I absolutely love Ted Leo too. I haven't heard of Chisel though...I'll have to check them out. If your into Sunny Day and TITR, then I'm sure that you've heard of Jets To Brazil. If not, you should check them out. Is it your birthday that you just got back from?

Good, I figured that you would like them. You would probably like Stillgazer, too. They have a whole EP on last.fm for free download. http://www.last.fm/music/Stillgazer/Stillgazer+EP But I'm glad that you like them. Any suggestions for me?

I definitely understand music as a vice. I can hardly go an hour without music. By the way, I just listened to my first Spiritualized song cuz I saw them on your recently listened tracks and they're really good.

You should also check out The Radio Dept. They are like a more modern version of My Bloody Valentine.

Well I tend to find new music every day. But today I listened to Texas Is The Reason a lot on my iPod and in my car. I noticed that you listened to Jawbreaker today, so you would probably like TITR. They were around at the same time and played pretty similar music.

I just thought that I'd let you know that I added you cuz I thought that your profile was cute and funny. Just so that you don't think that I'm some kind of creeper. I also like the music that you've been listening to. Good choices.
