Fair enough. The current metalcore scene is rooted in identical breakdowns, so polished and overproduced that any remaining rawness is practically gone. What is the point in this? I need a desperate, collapsing, raw sound from hardcore music.

I know it was probably Daughters/Jerome's Dream related, as I used to be heavily into these bands a few years ago, looking up through their listeners and comment threads.
