Sure, I do... I shall send you a piece as soon as I get to run into you on ICQ again. That walk I took was awesome... the hills along the Moselle river are so pleasant... The afternoon sun was drowning the world in honey while the other side was shady with the coming of the night... Anyway, what did you buy with your dad? I'm such an arty tart... hehehe...

Yeah, it's one of my songs... A friend asked me to send it to him and so I thought 'twas time to listen to it again... Well, I'm busy with teaching and writing but yesterday I took a very long road in the hills around... that was actually pretty nice... and there's a lot of good music to be listened to... but unfortunately there's only little time...

How are you now that you've passed the last exam? All worn out and tired? What are you up to now?

The strange thing is that I suppose everyone prefers the album of Pink Floyd that he first got a listen to. I found this in many cases... And I clearly remember how so many years ago I foun this shabby tape in a library... And how I listened to it on my walkman when going to school the next grey cloudy rainy morning... And how it blew my mind... Careful w/that Axe, Eugene! Whatever, it's a pretty good feeling to know what you're doing... But I also have my hours of doubt and self-despair. Who knows what the future brings?

Mh, I'd call our music bluesy prog rock of a song writer... Actually, my main influences in writing songs were King Crimson, Leonard Cohen, Jonah Matrange & Far, Tim Buckley, and the Doors of course... But after disbanding, I was happy doing some plain songs... just a guitar and my voice. Oh, my fave Dylan ballad? Mh, as for the ballads, I think that Lay Lady Lay is the most meaningful to me. I also enjoyed "My Back Pages" a lot. And we played "Knockin' on Heaven's Door" most every gig we had. And I love Desolation Row and Girl From the North Country. Even though it's not a ballad I must say that I love Masters of War. So you were a little runaway girl in beautiful Saxony? Oh my goodness ;) The ministry's law uni? Looks like you're heading on a career, uh? ;) Well, I considered law once myself... But then I jobbed at a lawyer's office and changed my mind.

Oh yeah, as I can see, you are listening to Dylan. I like him a lot. I mean, I used to have a band a few years ago. And in the first place, I was their lyricist. So could I not be into Dylan? I am one of those people who think he should be awarded the Nobel Prize of Literature. How come you came to Saxony? It's actually a very beautiful place and I get pretty home sick from time to time. It's only been like three or four months since I left. Unfortunately, I've never made it to Russia so far even though I'd really love to see Petrograd and Moscwa. Oh, I didn't mean school like middle school... Sometimes being around too many Americans screws up ones English :D There doesn't seem to be any difference there... Oh well, my first Russian words were no swearings at all... First of all, I learned a song entitled Дружбу говорят - Freundschaft sagen that we were singing at a Red Army military base. Saxony is acutally the part of Germany were I am originally from. But now I live deep in the West. But when I was a child I spent a lot of time in the CSSR. Anyway, I don't even understand much Russian anymore. It's the same with French... I had hardly any chances to speak those languages... so I forgot a lot. Oh, in most cases, cover versions are a pain in the ass... Save for some exceptions... like Dylan's All Along the Watchtower or Wheel's on Fire... And I much prefer Vanilla Fudge's re-do of "You Keep Me Hangin' On" to the original. But it's amazing you're learning German at school now... Good luck... And keep me informed on your progress! ;)

Yeah, I enjoy Raabe & his Palast Orchester a lot... Once I saw them play at a very well reputated Orchestra House... That was amazing. And I love his reworks of rock classics such as the Queen songs... Oh... and I do understand some Russian... not too much, though. I am East German and so I was first taught some Russian back at kindergarten. Aber nun sehe ich ja, dass du Deutsch kannst... :)

You still can write me in russian if you want, but for me is a little more slow if i write in cyrillic... and sadly I have at the moment a lot of work... Thanks for the recommendation! Ah well, thank you for the comment and sorry for my late reply I was busy working... Yeah I think that we are still looking for that something that will make us sound different but it's hard to do that especially when you play something that you like, cause there are always some things about other bands that you listen to and you would like to change. I think that is the reason why we play, cause we can control the content and the sound of the music...
