Yeah definitely give her a listen, 'dragging a dead deer up a hill' is a stunning album. Everything is drowned in reverb/ the lyrics are barely discernable but it's got a great haunting feeling. Perfect for late night listening...

haha yeah, people obviously thought ahead. Are you planning on going to any festivals this summer? I quite like the look of Loop in Brighton (the field live sounds like fun) and Field Day (i'v heard some bad things about the organisation but the lineup is really tempting)

My copy of the new idlewild album dropped through my letterbox today, i wasn't massively impressed with the it live but am looking forward to giving it a spin, did you go down the pre-order route too?

i see what you mean, if i had a decent hi-fi setup vinyl would definitely be more appealing (Esp as they increasingly come with a free digital download), cass mccombs sounds pretty cool. nice to see someone still listening to the first TCTC album btw, it's a pity they split up (although i didn't much like their last album..)

Yeah it's amazing! Remix albums are usually a bit hit and miss but this one's really good

You can totally judge it by it's cover, it's so disappointing. First 2 tracks are ok but the rest is painfully mediocre and there's this hideous piano ballad on it too. I could have cried. Do You Trust Your Friends on the other hand is amazing!

My tagging is fine, I don't wanna find Jose Gonzalez under J, they should have something written into their scrobbling software to sort that, surely it wouldn't be too difficult?

mm it was a strange gig, the worst two support acts i'v ever seen (one an editors rip off, the other an arctic monkeys rip-off :S) but someone still loves you were pretty good! i see your going to see the sea and cake, i haven't heard any of their stuff but heard good things, what'r they like/ would it be worth going without knowing any of their songs?
