I can't say "interesting charts", as for the most part I have no idea who these people and bands are -- but they're intersting at least in that they'll prompt me to do some listening, so thanks for that. (I also, like someone below, came here via the Chat box for Barclay James Harvest.)

Oh dear, have a good time in Sheffield. It'll be my second time seeing ES, hope they were as good as the first. I just need to see them 42 more times and then I'll be on par with you! Hope all is well.

I am too jealous of how many times you've seen Patrick Wolf! I heard of him only 13 days after his first performance in my city (Portland, Oregon) but was able to catch him a year later (October 2007) when he returned. I'm still waiting for him to come back... and my order of Lupercalia to arrive.

I noticed you tend to listen to friends libraries, you should give mine a listen, a lot of what I listen to seems to be different to your favourite bands.

Haha I know what you mean, I don't understand a word Alice is singing about. Would love to see them live but haven't had the chance to yet.

no worries, and Vera Cruz were decent but they weren't anythin to write home about in my eyes, and i thought trash talk were on fire, never enjoyed a support slot as much, but im a big fan of Trash Talk, i recommend getting the album 'Shame' which is a collaboration of everything they have done before Eyes and Nines (which i believe not to be as good, but still a good record) but previous to that they are constantly a rawer band. and yeah for example the bloke who climbed up on stage then got carried off by a bouncer, was a bit of an embarrasment. and yes i did, im manchester based and i wont be able to get there unfortuantly, really would of fancied it if i could and it clashes with Gallows here/18+ venue.

i actually didn't go to the CC gig. i bought the ticket many months ago and then fell out with the person i was supposed to be going with so just ended up staying with a friend in lancaster for the weekend. plus i'm not very good at going outside as the world terrifies me. it would be great if you got into hip-hop by the way. seems a cliche to say this but it's a really rich genre that gets a lotta bad rep from people

Hey, Clive. Sorry for the late response. I hope you'll excuse my confusion earlier. It's pretty admirable how your reply was calm and straight to the point where other people might have been offended. It's true, we've got some music in common, which probably means we both listen to a wide range of music. Now, while I'm not a fan of Enter Shikari and a lot of other post-hardcore bands, I'd hate for someone to judge me negatively if one of my favorite bands wasn't to their tastes. Hopefully this experience will stop me from travelling down the dark and friendless path of a music snob, but it's not looking likely. Anyway, happy listening and thanks for the shout. It's cool you browse /mu/.

meh you listen to a fair few bands i don't like but considering my grandparents dismiss most modern music saying "it has no tune to it" i think it's better to be open minded and listen to a variety of stuff than to listen exclusively to classic.fm. also have you listened to Idiot Pilot? think you might like them if you like Enter Shikari

It might take a bit more than that for him to get into them. Haha. I'm pretty jealous! I'm following La Dispute around Australia in a few months and seeing Trash Talk and a few others at a festival. I've found a roommate in London so it looks like I'm going to have to pack cold.
